When I was having dinner with my friends the other night, one of the ladies were complaining about her feeling like a single parent. She’s married with 2 young children, and her well-do husband always work, work and work. She complained that the only time she has with him is having breakfast, then he quickly “chao” to work, and only comes back after midnight. Sometimes also didn’t come back to sleep.

First question I asked her, is he having another woman? She said no, so I said if you want to have cash to spend, then you should feel grateful for your hardworking husband!
Then I began to think about my life with my hubby now. He’s working outstation for a few days in a week, and even when he comes back, he’ll spend time golfing. He says he has to do exercise and keep fit. Why golf? He’s too old to jog liao…;p. If not golfing, he’ll go and socialise with clients, and comes back half drunk at night. No need to say, he’s more interested in his pillow than talking / pat toh with me.

Si liao, only married for more than one year already “lao fu lao qi”, no more spark in relationship. Even if we go out also will drag along our in-laws, no more couple time. But I don’t mind bringing Justin along so that we can spend some family time.

Don’t know how to pat toh already…. Maybe most parents are like me too, no pat toh but still feel happy with each other. Miss my dating days!
