Justin’s having fever on our way back to Ipoh on Friday evening. I didn’t have a termometer, but could really feel the heat. He’s really “lau kai” the whole journey, and refused to sit on his car seat sometimes. I sponged him with cold water, and he’s screaming like hell in the car. To make things worse, we’re stucked in a bad crawl from Jalan Duta toll to Sungai Buloh Jejantas, and took about 4 hours to reach Ipoh at 9.30pm.

When we reached home, his temperature has finally cool down, so I decided not to bring him to clinic until the next morning. This is the first time he got sick. I also have no idea how to feed him medicine and hubby and I were struggling to force the medicine in. Needless to say, Justin cries badly each time he’s taking the med.

Actually, I noticed he had some coughing already before we left for KL, infected by his cousin, but I was counting on breastmilk to boast his immunity. At least he’s ok for 4 days before coming home from KL.

The paed said it’s only virus infection, but old folks told me he’s teething. He has a baby tooth coming out already. My mum said he’s travelling too much, but we still took him to Teluk Intan yesterday for a wedding, and came back this afternoon.

He’s doing fine now, only cries a lot when he sleeps as he has nose block and coughing. He doesn’t want milk too, but only water. Only 2 days, he’s lost his chubby look. So pity….
