Finally, Justin sleeps through the night for a few days already. He’ll sleep at about 9.30pm, and wake up 6.30am in the morning. Even if he doesn’t wake up for feedings at night anymore, but he’ll still be tossing around, making noises and cries sometimes.

I’m still not used to him sleeping through, and will get up at the usual time when he needs his feed. It’s funny, now that I can sleep more, my biological clock is not working, and still wakes up at night.

Comparing to the first few months when he’s nursing every 2 hours day and night, and was on reverse nursing for a while, I feel so lucky that he has finally been able to sleep through when he’s about 1 year old. Hubby is even happier, he can snore like a pig until the sun comes out now.

  1. you lucky ler… my son still wakes up at least once a night… maybe is due to breastfeeding :)

  2. Yup… formula feed does make them full for a longer period in comparison to breast milk… but tossing and turing could be because he still misses the night feed / bonding sometimes?

  3. Egghead, I miss my bf days, really don’t mind to get up and bf him…

Sue, I think he misses the night feedings too, but funny leh, he didn’t wake up. If he wakes up, I’ll feed him, just don’t feel like waking him up.

  4. haha hubby forever snore to wonderland one lerr, mine sometimes I can even hear from my study room!!!

Good that Justin can sleep thru the night, Mommy can have more rest

  5. Hee hee.. when they wake up, we complain, when they don’t, we also complain.

Zara slept through when she was 6 weeks old.. but nowadays, started waking up again. More like from night mare.. cry until I stuff the breast in her mouth, then she’ll suck and go back to sleep..

Aigh.. But waking one time, still can tahan la.

  6. Jazzmint, my hubby’s snoring used to be a “problem” in our marriage. Beh tahan!

Zara’s mama, you’re so lucky! Sleeping thru at 6 weeks? Rarely hear that from bf babies. Well, when they grow older, nightmares will surely wake them up. Don’t play too much with her before bedtime loh…
