Feeling Fat and Sakit Pinggang
I’ve reached the state of pregnancy where I began to feel like I’m a big whale waddling around like a duck. This time along, my tummy is smaller but I still feel “FAT”.
Some women will feel great about themselves, and embrace their changing bodies in a possible way. I used to feel like that too, until I feel the pain on my back! That’s because I’m still carring Justin, who’s still refuses to walk. My mom said he’ll only start walking when the baby comes, now he’ll take every opportunity to cling on to me. Well, maybe this is another old folk’s tale.
Since I can’t carry him in front of my tummy, I have to sit him on my waist at the side. And imagine my spine going S-shape, side-way to accommodate Justin, and back to accommodate my baby. Then have to walk with 10kg load of Justin and 10kg load of tummy, no wonder I’ll waddle like a duck! By the end of the day, my back aches.
It keeps me wondering how the ancient pregnant women walk and work while carrying their babies at the same time. Like my grandma who has 8 children and needs to do all the housework while carrying a baby on her the back. I really salute them.

Egghead, rest is the last item in my daily to-do list…
Judy Chow, welcome to my blog. I wanted to carry him less, but it’s really hard seeing him crying his lungs out. Sigh!

People in the olden days carry the baby at the back mah.. like a knap sack.. if pregnant.. mah balance off loh. 1 front, 1 back.. You carry one front, one side woh.. sure will be very tough..
When you reach towards 3rd trimester, really very sun fu hor.. the load you are carrying.. Then at night sleep also very susah.
Anyway.. 8 more weeks to go.. TAHAN.

Oh do take care of yourself. I was really huge with the second one and felt so clumsy. As a matter of fact I fell down while walking down the hill near my workplace one morning. So do take care of yourself and take care of your back. If Justin wants to be carried or manja do it while sitting down loh. Other times, let someone else do it.
