Bumbo Chair
July 31st, 2006 by shoppingmum

After collecting dust for months in the store room, this expensive little Bumbo had finally been put to good use, as sat by my Isabelle.

After Justin koh-koh saw his mei mei sitting on it, he wanted to have a go. To my wonder, this chair which used to be too small for him fit him perfectly well. His butt definitely got smaller as he’s grown bigger. Luckily, he didn’t insist on sitting on it for too long, and gave it back to mei mei. Good boy…

Daddy Nick, actually, I don’t think it’s worth it. But we got it last time because Justin started solid at 4 months and he could sit on a high chair then. After he knows how to sit at 6 months, Bumbo has been “neglected”. What a waste!
1+2mom, you’re right. It’s really expensive, sigh…
Immomsdaughter, mommy’s pocket got fire loh if keep buying toys for him! Ha! So, I rather let him run and explore in the garden, it’s free!
Egghead, I think it’s comfy too, the material is really soft. But it’s really bulky to bring around, just use it at home only.

OMG, so fast… Isabelle’s 3mths old adi. And she looks so tiny in that Bumbo. Hubby likes the bumbo also, but pricey, hoh. But, you can always sell it off when she outgrows it soon.
Something i want to ask you also. You’re a sling user, right. Is it good and easy to use? I want to get one for Malcolm. Where did u get urs from? MIM?

Shoppingmum is right. Mine was already in the store room since Brae could sit on his own in the highchair. So he just used it only for around 3 months+.

i think your kids really look alike. the mouth, the nose, even the facial expression! (look at the lips while on Bumbo) … wah can be identical twins that are born on different dates, haha!

Samm, good idea, will have potential new parents for the Bumbo! LOL!
Yes, I’m using MIM’s sling. It’s not easy to use with a newborn, but when baby grows older, it’s quite useful as I tend to carry baby around in the house and seldom leave her in the cot. But you might need to practise with it for a while, then it’s very convenient to be used at home with at least a free hand to do some work. But if I’m going out, I prefer the normal sling.
Babykhong, well, you can always use it again when new baby comes along
It’s really a waste of money, I dunno why we bought it in the first place.
Greenapple, what to do? They’re from the same manufacturers!

I must say this again, your two childen look so alike! The way they bite their lower lips, etc.
Wow, Isabelle can already hold her heads up?! My Isabel is still very soft, especailly her neck.
BTW, I am still struggling in using my MIM sling. Failed to use it with Ian. Now, looks like I’m going to fail using it again…
