A blog for Justin and Isabelle

Hubby went for a business trip to China yesterday. He’ll be away until next Friday, if things are going out as planned. Before sending him off to catch the bus to KL, MIL told him some rules and regulations:

1. Don’t smoke too much
2. I thought she’s gonna say “Don’t drink too much“, but she said “Beware of China chick!”

My friends also joked about China chicks “seducing” my hubby. So, either my hubby is gatal, or has the look to kill chicks, or those chicks are gatal!

Can’t control much. His jobs requires him to travel frequently, if want to find chickc, can get locally too. Right or not?

Hubby’s worrying that Justin may “forget” him when he’s away, so he bought him his favourite titbits before leaving. I told Justin papa bought him that, but he said “po po buy one”. So, hubby’s heart would be broken to hear that…

He’s also worrying that he has to start his bonding with Isabelle all over again. We can’t call him too and he doesn’t have laptop with him. We can only wait for his call, and it’s better than none.

  2. hmm probably can send him MMS of the kids ;)

  3. You can always mentioned Daddy to them and show them his photos. Don’t think Justin will forget him so easily but Isabelle maybe..

How come he never worried u will miss him much? :)

  4. My hubby also go to China very often for biz esp to Beijing and Shanghai… these are the two places filled with ‘gatal’ China-mei.

Like what baby darren said, you should show your hubby’s photo to Isabelle… that was what I did when I was staying with my parents for almost 3 months with Darrius but hubby only came visit us when he’s back from his biz trips every forthnightly. We tried to talk over Skype if he can get online.

  5. My hubby also travels a lot to China.. and every time he goes, I ask Zara to tell him, “Don’t get girl friend yeah”. Daddy said he only has 2 girl friends.. me and Zara. :P

Your hubby lots of time also in KL right? If Justin wants to forget him, can forget him very much earlier loh.. Don’t worry lar.

  6. Err…why cannot call your hubby? No International Roaming or no coverage? Your MIL so sporting one, speak on your behalf :) Take care & hang tough for one week.

  7. You hv a fun MIL!

  8. Haha, your MIL really thoughtful to say the sentence to your hubby. :)

Are you using maxis? If yes, you can call the china fixed line, it is very cheap just 20 cents/min. Digi also cheap too..

  9. Haha, your MIL is cute huh?!

  10. Suftingmama, ok, I’ll check out the site.

Jazzmint, I don’t have a camera phone, and too lazy to upload photo to my hp anyway. Well, he can always check my blog right?

Baby Darren, the reason why he worries so much is Justin really “forgot” him during his last trip and he needed time to warm up again with daddy. But maybe that time he’s younger. Yes, I think it’s harder to Isabelle to “remember” daddy too, wait until he’s back and I’ll let them have some “rebonding” time again.
What to do? He’s very confident with me, Ha!

Angeleyes, we’re on the same boat! Married with hubby who travels a lot really requires patient and understanding from us huh?

Zara’s mama, you’re good! Should start teaching my boy to say that to papa too! Well, you know, man who travels a lot has this worry that his kids will easily forgets him, at least my hubby’s one of them!

Immomsdaugher, I’m trying to save money mah…:P
Anyway, he’s travelling from one place to another on plane every day, and I don’t wanna bother him so he can finish his work ASAP and get back sooner. :)

Jesslyn and Blur Blur, you’re right, she’s so straight forward!

Huisia, no china fixed line, he’s on the move a lot. Never mind lah, I’ve got used to it. And he’s only worrying about my kids lah…
