A blog for Justin and Isabelle

When we were at my brother’s place, Justin was fascinated with the white Christmas tree place in the his house. He called it “Old Man (Santa Clause) Tree”.

I wished to have one at home too, but hubby’s family are buddhist, so I didn’t get one. I know I could have just buy one as decoration, but I think MIL will not like it.

Then, brother’s MIL chit-chatted with me and asked me to “Get a Religion”. Huh? I looked like I don’t have religion keh? She said I could have just choose any religion, be it Christian, Buddhist, or Muslim and lead my life according to the teaching. She’s a Chinese-Hindu, thus my brother has converted to one too.

That got me thinking, what’s my religion? Frankly, I don’t have one yet.

  1. hi…have been reading your blog for quite some time…first time leaving my “mark” here in your comment box…hehe…

me too…i don’t have a “fix” religion…my dad is a buddhist…a very strict one…mom and sis just baptised…they are catholics now…dad was unhappy at first…but he can’t do much…mom don’t force us to follow either one of them…but she always told me that it is good that I have a religion…i’ve been thinking about that too…but to me…when time comes…eventually I will choose the right religion for me…
