Lilypie 5th Birthday TickerLilypie 3rd Birthday Ticker

Tomorrow is Justin’s 2nd birthday. Time really flies, my boy is no longer a toddler, but a little boy now. He’s grown up so much for the past months, and I’m beginning to miss his baby-ish look as he once used to be.

He talks a lot these days. And I could have some conversation with him:

Me: Have you been a good boy when mommy’s working?
Justin: Yes, Justin good boy.
Me: Did you taking of mei mei?
Justin: Take care mei mei already.
Me: What did you eat just now?
Justin: Justin eat rice, grapes, raisins….
Me: What did you do then?
Justin: *thinking* watch Barney, play toys, help kakak (folding handkerchief)

He’s an active little boy and he has to run around everyday to release his energy. Every evening, he’ll put on his sneakers and jog one round around the house. Then, he’ll kick the ball, “playing” golf, blowing bubbles, getting himself wet watering the plants, and etc. He’s beginning to learn how to cycle his tricycle by himself, and if he’s not too tired, he can paddle for a distance already.

However, his still not good at controlling his temper. When he’s throwing tantrum, he’s very hard to be comforted and he’ll scream and scream and scream. I’m still controlling his diet by eliminating sugary food, to see if helps him to have a softer temperament.

He likes puzzles, Lego, blocks, trains, cars and aeroplanes lately. He’s beginning to spend lesser time on reading, and more on playthings. But I just let him be, as kids learn when they’re playing too.

He sings some nursery rhymes now, I’m gonna capture this on video one day as he’s expecially shy when he’s singing. Don’t know why. He keeps asking to go to kindermusik class, but the class ended, and will only start back next month. He’s missing his class really much.

Sometimes, he’ll bite or hit Isabelle purposely. But last night, I beh tahan with him biting her fingers again, I bit him back. I know it’s wrong to do so, but that teaches him how painful it is to be bitten, and he promised not to do that again. He even asked to kiss Isabelle immediately after my bites (sorry boy), and I apologized from him too. Then 3 of us hugged and kisses each other. Sweet huh? :)

One Response to “Justin: 2 years old”

  1. yes, I can feel the changes in my gal too the moment she turns 2. She can be real sweet one moment and devil the next…driving me nuts too. Sometimes, I blow my top and scold her. I feel guilty when everything’s calm down. Afterall, she’s my sweetie pie. The only thing that I yearn for after a day’s work is to go back home and give her huggies….Nowadays, I tired to calm myself before I respond…its still tough…sometimes, I am wondering is it becos she’s the only child at home and got too pampered by us already…It worries me alot…
