Being fit is one of my missions in life. I’m not doing this just for fitting myself in nice clothings, but it’s for my wellness and fitness too.

It’s quite hard to start exercising if you don’t have the habit before. Even if I’m joining pilates classes, sometimes I skip too. But by paying a few months fees in advance, I’m obliged to drag myself to the class whenever I can. By practising pilates twice a week, I feel that my body had become fitter, and I’m healtier too, even if I’m not sleeping much.

Since it’s hard for me to exercise at home as I have 2 active kids to attend too, I found that balance diet helps a lot. Don’t go for buffet and think that you need to eat the amount of money you’re paying for. Just eat normally and stop when you’re full. I used to over-eat and vomit later when I went for buffets. I didn’t stop eating when I was full, but kept on eating as my friends with bigger appetite didn’t stop yet. Once, I remembered that we’re challenging each other to see who could finish the most ice-cream. The winner could take about 25 scoopes of ice-cream, while I didn’t make to 20. But I threw up in the toilet when I reached home and suffered for food poisoning effect for days. What a record huh?

On top of that, I don’t believe in crash diet. I did that before during uni, by just munching on a few crackers a day to fit in that little black dress for a ball. After that big night, I ate like hell! Who won’t be eating after starving for so long? And regained the extra kilos later!

So, to put it in a nut shell, just eat well, and get your butt out of that sofa and do some exercise!
