A blog for Justin and Isabelle

If I’m bathing Justin and Isabelle by myself, I have no choice but to bathe them together as if I’m doing it individually, I’m worrying that Isabelle will be crawling around and playing with the sockets, pulling the wiring, bumping into the furniture, etc, well, you know what I mean.

I know it’s not encouraged to bathe boy and girl together, but they’re still young, so I guess it should be ok for the time being. After I’ve bathed them both, I’ll let them play in the tub for a while. Both of them like to splash the water, and scoope up the water with some mugs. But I don’t put much water in the tub, just less than 2 inches deep.

Since the size of  the tub is too small to fit both of them, there’s a slight accident happened today when Isabelle kicked Justin’s “important part” and refused to let go of her leg! Justin was screaming “mei mei, no kick, koh koh pain pain, go away!” I couldn’t help it but started laughing looking at Justin’s struggling to push Isabelle’s leg away! It’s so funny!

Most of the time, I’ll dry and dress up Isabelle first. Then carry her with me, while I help Justin to get out and dry him up. Justin doesn’t like to dress up immediately after a bathe, so both of them will be playing together in the room as I clean up the bathroom first. Then, it’s Justin’s turn to get dressed up and all of us will go outstairs for breakfast or dinner.

It’s fun bathing the kids, and I prefer to do it by myself whenever possible.

  1. Wow..good idea. I shall learn this from you when the 2nd one is out! :-)

  2. Babykhong, not when baby is too young though as you need lots of attention on the newborn, and Brae is still very young then. Wait until baby is older first. :)
