Isabelle: 8 months old
December 22nd, 2006 by shoppingmum

Weight: 8kg
Teeth: 2 at the bottom and 2 on the top
- She’s a happy go easy baby. She smiles a lot, and likes to giggle if we play peekaboo with her.
- She’s very good at crawling now, and likes to touch the sockets, lights, toys, and anything she finds interests in. I’m getting busier watching over her after she starts getting mobile.
- She takes 2 solid food per day, once for lunch and once for dinner. I’m going to introduce breakfast to her soon. And will probably add fruit snack on regular basis too.
- If she sees us eat, she has to get her share too, very “wai sek”.
- She likes pulling our hair, especially mine as it’s long and curly.
- If she’s upset, she’ll cry and arch back her body, so it’s getting hard comforting her when she’s really angry.
- Oh ya, her hair is still very fine and short. You can see from the picture above that she doesn’t have much hair, even she’s already 8 months old. So, she’s always been mistaken as a baby boy.
- She’s learning how to do “milk milk” sign as that’s the only baby sign language I’m starting to teach her with.
- She begins to know hubby is her daddy, and will reach out her arms to him, or smiles when she see him. But hubby is away again, so I’m not sure if she’ll still remember him when he’s back a week from now.
- She likes tearing paper, books, magazines, or tissue, and stuffing them in her mouth!
- She learning to stand up by crawling to ther sofa, and trying to pull herself up! She still doesn’t have the strength to do it by herself, so we’ll help her to stand up by supporting her body at the sofa. I think she’s going to learn cruising in another month.
- She’ll get jealous if I carry Justin or other kids. Even my maid also can’t carry other kids rather than Justin. She’s quite possessive.
- Her sleeping pattern is very bad. She wakes up almost every hour for comfort nursing. I could be my fault for letting her developing this habit, but I need to lie down and rest too! So, breastfeeding is still the easiest thing to do, no need to get up and rock her lah….
- Sometimes, her left eye will have double eye lid, so it’s funny to see her eyes in different shapes. I wonder when her double eye lids will come out…
