When I was single, I could just spend till I dropped, not worrying about tomorrow, how was I going to survive if I’m penniless, or how am I going to save up for my retirement, and etc. I have never been worried about all this stuffs as I thought I’d be working until age 55. LOL!

But I quit my job because I want to be with my children, and I began to worry about how financial capable hubby and I are to secure their future. Not only for tertiary education, but also are we capable of giving the best environment to our kids. Ok, you may argue that money is not everything, but without money, there’s nothing much.

So, besides investment, what else can we do to maximize our fortune? Buy gold coin? Get more insurance plans? Besides spending on the kids, we need to think of how to support my parents, his parents, or ourselves by the time we’re old!
Hubby’s working on some projects that required lots of money. I don’t want to be negative, but they really need lots of money. Hubby said he’s taking the risk so he can retire earlier and spend more time with us. I jokingly told him that not that he wanted to retire, but he was forced too because of bankruptcy! See what bad mouth I have! :P

Oh well, I can’t help him much with his work, but I really hope he knows what he’s working for the sake of our kids.
