Snoring…

Ok, I complained about hubby’s snoring before in one of the posts, and all the while he doesn’t think it’s a big issue. Justin was tired, he went to bed early. Hubby was sleeping with him but he got up as he had a night out with his friends. When I was busy blogging…

Hubby: Did you hear that?

Me: Hear what?
Hubby: Justin! He’s snoring!

Me: Ya so? Not first time lah. *busy typing*
Hubby: But his mouth is closed mah, how to snore?

Me: *Puzzled, stop typing* You mean you think the mouth should be open when snoring?

Hubby: Not meh?

Me: No lah! You also snore with your mouth closed. Justin got this from you lah!!! You know that almost every night I have a symphony here or not? Yee har yee har, how to sleep? *Annoyed*
Hubby: I didn’t know lah…*Probably felt guilty, went downstairs to get my a glass of milk*

Hubby: Nah, want milk or not?

Me: Ok….*Sigh, no point arguing* :P

Testing the Water?

Gee, now I know why hubby likes drinking out with his friends more and talking to me, there’s a list of 53 reasons why beer is better than women at beer/key style!!! *Sigh* I’ve just read about it…
Never mind, the more he’s drinking out, the more time I have to learn about Seo Tactics online from seo/web oriented blogs, and I can have the PC all by myself! Yippie!

Just one more thing, he has to make sure that he doesn’t come back drunk, vomit in the toilet, go straight to bed and leave me to clean up the mess in the middle of the night all by myself! I’ll give him a kick (LOL!) No lah, I’m not violent, I mean I’ll kick him up and ask him to clean up with me. :P

2nd Day at Montessori

Today, hubby dropped Justin at school after 10am and left immediately. When I went there after my class at about 11.30am, the kids were having music class in the other room with the door closed. I didn’t hear any kid crying, so Justin must be enjoying himself inside.

I talked to the principal about how he’s doing. Apparently, Justin cried for daddy after he left. He didn’t want any teacher to be near him, except one. He sticked to that teacher the whole morning!

When the music class ended, and the kids were coming out from the room, I heard him crying for mommy. This time, mommy was really here! The teacher said he’s ok, cried once in a while, but managed to stop and enjoy himself too. I was glad to hear that.

We didn’t leave immediately. Justin had to stay for lunch, and he wanted me to sit beside him. The boy sat opposite him was enjoying his porridge really well, kept telling me “Good, this is good, I like it” and Justin followed him “Good, mommy this is good, I like it”.

I was holding back my laughter as I know Justin doesn’t really like porridge, he prefers rice! But he’s imitating the boy! The boy finished his lunch quite fast and asking for more. Justin tried to do the same, but he was too full to ask for more, he took water instead.

I’m so happy to see him being so obedient eating by himself. He’s willing to eat by himself at home, but seldom finishes the meal and I or my maid has to feed him. Maybe he is at school, that’s why. He’s learning from the other kids.

I think I made a right choice enrolling when he’s still young. It’s only Montessori style where he will learn at his own pace, no homework no books (except reading session). That’s the kind of education system I like my kids to have.

After lunch, we left, and Justin waved bye-bye to everyone, but he still refused to hug the principal. :P

He’s so tired when we got home. He took more than 2 hours nap in the afternoon, and went to bed before 9.30pm! That means I have more free time blogging!!! :)

Beach Vacation

It’s been quite some time since we last went to the beach. If I’m not mistaken, the last time we brought the kids to the beach was is last October, at Damai Laut Kuching.

Justin misses the sandy beach a lot, and I have been persuading hubby to go for a short beach travel just for the weekend. It doesn’t have to be somewhere far, of coz, I’d prefer all of us to go somewhere further!!!! But hubby’s occupied with gold tournament during the weekends, so he’s relunctant to leave Ipoh!

Our friend KK came back from Finland and he’s planning to go scuba diving in Langkawi. I told hubby that we can join him for a short trip, and he didn’t say anything.

KK, can help to brainwash him or not? I miss Langkawi leh… :)

P/S: KK, I know you read my blogs, so you better “DO” your job! :P

Justin’s 1st Day at Montessori

CIMG0485

Hubby and I enrolled Justin into Young Explorer’s Montessori this morning. I stayed at the nursery with him as I was afraid he would cry! He didn’t cry, but kept looking for me every now and then, worrying that I may leave him there alone!

We were only there for less than 2 hours, just for a try. For his first day in school, I’d give him a score of 8 out of 10! Why?

  • He didn’t cry, that’s good! In fact, VERY GOOD!!!
  • He is not “organized”—– it’s his first day! What can I expect!
  • He’s noisy! Sorry ya, MIL said “ho po cai” 河婆仔 should speak loudly! :P
  • He still refused to share and snatch from other kids, that’s the reason why I sent him to nursery, so that he can learn to share. At home, his 2 older cousins let him have his own way all the time! Even if he hits them, they won’t hit back, so Justin’s quite spoiled…

Since I have a class tomorrow morning, I thought of not sending him in until Thursday. I’m not sure how he will be without me, or if he’s willing to get down from the car!!! Most importantly, I can’t be late for my class.
But the principal insisted that we bring him in as there is going to be a Music Garden session tomorrow, and he will enjoy it. So, hubby’s going to send him off, after his morning golf!

See how he’s doing tomorrow!

Golfing Together

Golf is hubby’s favorite sport. He will play golf as much as possible whenever he has the time for it. For example, he is not going outstation this week, so he wakes up at 6am to tee off at 7am, before anyone of us wakes up from dreamland! Not only that, he goes to golf range in the evening to practice his swings, and he has a golf “sifu” (trainer) who he plays with most of the time.Gee, it sounds like my hubby is really serious in turning himself into a professional golfer huh? :P But he still has a long way to go as he started golf quite late.

Well, I have no idea how excited he will be if he stays in golf course communities like the pic below….

The houses are nestled in the Canyon Gate Country Club community, which offers its resident’s privacy and security. However, only members of this club are actually allowed to play it, aside from guest invitations.

He has always had this dream of playing golf with all his kids in oversea after he retires. It would be better if he can buy a house there!!! Then, I bet he will be golfing from whole day long, unless they have night golf, of course!

It’s really not hard to find house within the golf course home in US.. Golf Course Pararadise is ultimate of golf course communities and real estate in the U. S. A. They have a comprehensive and complete list of houses in all the states of US, and it’s really user-friendly. All we need to do is click on the state we are interested in, and there is a list of posts describing the various of golf courses there.

But then, it’s really EXPENSIVE!!! Hubby will surely have to delay his retirement if he wants to have one. LOL! :P

Baby Fruit Feeder

I got this from my neighbour who’s back from UK last year. I think I’ve seen this baby feeder before from some baby shops, but I just can’t remember where.
CIMG0483

Isabelle likes to use this feeder a lot, and it’s really convenient for me to feed her fruits, when I’m busy! I don’t have to watch her every bite as it prevents baby from choking from bigger pieces of fruits, like apples and pears.

See how my girl enjoys it? :)

Sexy Lingerie

Ok ladies, if you are interested to spice up your love life, why not get yourself some sexy lingerie? I know we Asians are quite conservative in general, but who knows? Your man might love it! :)

I like those Baby Doll lingerie. They are sexy, but not over exposed to me. BTW, don’t just think that lingerie are for women with hot body. Every woman can wear them and they do come in plus sizes!

I have always been tempted to get a nice lingerie for myself! But since the kids are sleeping with me, they are not appropriate for me. But I found something I like from the site, a tie front halter top which I can pair up with hot shorts for my trip to Bali next month! Gosh, I’ll look hot! :)

2nd Skin Check Up

Isabelle and I went for a check up this morning. Her rashes on the butt have slowly diminished, but she is still on antibiotics. At least she needs to complete this whole dose of antibiotic and see how it goes.

Her mosquito bite marks are fading as well. The doc really gave better cream this time, and it’s effective. Too bad I forgot to ask the name of that cream.

As for me, I’m in pain again! I thought my treatment was over, but I was wrong. Firstly, he cut off the skin of the infected part, and that was a bit painful, but still bearable. Then he told me that I needed a 2nd treatment with liquid nitrogen again! When I was he holding the spray in his hand, I was terrified! I asked if it’s necessary, but the doc said let’s settle it once and for all! And it’s only a little more and asked me to “yan”.

Wa lau, how to “yan”? So painful leh….Ok, to cut the story short, I was in pain again!!! So painful, I swallowed the painkiller when I was on my way back.

I can’t walk properly for a few days. *Sigh* Got to go working on Wednesday morning, yikes!

Eye Care

Since I’m addicted to blogging and being in front of the PC almost every night until the wee hour, I’m quite worried about my eye-sight and also Computer Vision Syndrome. I better watch out if I have any symptoms as quoted from AC Lens:

  • Headache – due to eye-strain
  • Aches & Pains – especially of the shoulders and neck due to poor posture at the computer because the wearer is sitting at an unnatural position/angle in order to obtain good vision
  • Dry Eyes – due to reduced blinking
  • Tired Eyes –due to strain focusing on the screen
  • Blurred Vision – due to decreased tears and focusing difficulties

I was wearing contact lens before I got married, and after that, I stopped! Why? Once, I accidentally wore my contact lens (actually, I only wore one side) to sleep. I only realized that the next day, and I was shocked when I just couldn’t find it in my eye!!!! I don’t know, can the lens moved to the back of my left eye??? I didn’t go to see an eye doctor though, and also didn’t find out more information from contact lens forum. Just let it be …. But it’s not encouraged, I know. At least I know now that I can ask the doctor from the forum if I have any doubts.

I didn’t know back then that there such lens which can be worn to sleep! Focus Night & Day, which is the only lens approved for a full 30-days of wear. There are also numerous conventional (hema) soft lenses that are approved for up to 7 days of extended wear! That would be safer, if I forgot again!

But I stopped wearing lens, as I only need it on one of my eyes. Hubby’s wearing his acuvue contact lens almost everyday! Without them, he can’t see a thing! :)
