My mum who’s bugging me to move back said that if I think the house is too small, she would consider getting a bigger house! :PAnyway, I was curious about how some Penangnites can afford nice big bungalows, so I check out the Mortgage Rates of various banks online. OMG! How can all these people afford a big house like that!

By coming up with an amount for the down payment and extend the repayment period to 30 years, based on the estimation with a Mortgage Calculator, I don’t think I can afford it! Not now! But not sure how is it in the future! LOL!

OK, at least I have a rough idea how much the total household income needed to get a big bungalow like that! Envy…
