To the Park
I’m not sure how to bring up my kids after we move back to my parents’ place. My way of bring up my kids is different from my mum. To me, she’s over protective, and prefer the kids to stay in the house until late evening as she doesn’t like them to be dark. But back in Ipoh, my kids get outside and play after 5pm, so Justin and Isabelle are restless during that hour.
I wanted to bring them to the park days ago, but my mum insisted that it’s too sunny and hot. She brought the kids to kiddie ride everyday, something which I think is spoiling the kids as it’s too much already. BTW, Justin only likes those RM3 animal ride, so you can do your calculation: 2 rides / day = RM6 and 30 days later that will be RM180! It’s not big money, but I think there are other ways for kids to have fun.
I brought him to the park this evening. I wanted to bring Isabelle too, but as you know, it’s too sunny for baby, as according to my mum! I got to discuss with her about our ways with my kids after CNY, before we’re moving back…
Justin is so happy to be out! See his smile? He’s a kampung boy, he has to have bigger space to run about!
He’s looking for Koi fish, like those in DR Park, Ipoh. He’s a bit disappointed that he couldn’t find any. And then, he told me “Mommy, shark”
I was puzzled, “Where got shark?” See, the river is so dirty, he thought they were sharks…

We walked to the playground. He had a good time there with some kids about his age.
His favourite: SEE-SAW!
Climbing through the tunnel…
Found his new Indian girlfriend. Justin tried to talk to her, but she answered in Tamil! So funny seeing them “kai tong ngak kong”.
Playing at the mini slide…
This is his first try on the higher slide, without me supporting him. He’s really a big boy now… But he still refused to try the tunnel slide, we’ll see when he dares to try it out!
He’s running away when I said we’re going back! He needed that run. ![]()
