Since I’m addicted to blogging and being in front of the PC almost every night until the wee hour, I’m quite worried about my eye-sight and also Computer Vision Syndrome. I better watch out if I have any symptoms as quoted from AC Lens:

  • Headache – due to eye-strain
  • Aches & Pains – especially of the shoulders and neck due to poor posture at the computer because the wearer is sitting at an unnatural position/angle in order to obtain good vision
  • Dry Eyes – due to reduced blinking
  • Tired Eyes –due to strain focusing on the screen
  • Blurred Vision – due to decreased tears and focusing difficulties

I was wearing contact lens before I got married, and after that, I stopped! Why? Once, I accidentally wore my contact lens (actually, I only wore one side) to sleep. I only realized that the next day, and I was shocked when I just couldn’t find it in my eye!!!! I don’t know, can the lens moved to the back of my left eye??? I didn’t go to see an eye doctor though, and also didn’t find out more information from contact lens forum. Just let it be …. But it’s not encouraged, I know. At least I know now that I can ask the doctor from the forum if I have any doubts.

I didn’t know back then that there such lens which can be worn to sleep! Focus Night & Day, which is the only lens approved for a full 30-days of wear. There are also numerous conventional (hema) soft lenses that are approved for up to 7 days of extended wear! That would be safer, if I forgot again!

But I stopped wearing lens, as I only need it on one of my eyes. Hubby’s wearing his acuvue contact lens almost everyday! Without them, he can’t see a thing! :)
