Yes, I’m crazy, like I have so much free time! In fact, I don’t really have, but I sneak to my desktop every now and then to post!

But I already bought one domain some time ago, which I meant to set up a web store with. But due to my lack of knowledge in reading the scripts *pull hair*, I can’t upload the shopping cart and thus left the domain there for a while. However, I think I better make good use of it by start with a blog first and see how things go.

So, ready? Here’s my 5th blog ….

Business VoIP Phones

BIL’s trying to save up more on the operating cost, so he’s thinking of switching the normal phones to VoIP Phones for business as they will help to save up lots of money.When talking through a VoIP phone, the voice is converted into an electronic signal which is broken down into compressed packets and routed through the internet. At the receiving end the VoIP packets are reassembled and decompressed by the phone hardware and software turning them back into audible frequencies. Even if it sounds more complicated than the regular telephone, the difference in pricing is very little.

A business VoIP phones have ability to communicate both over VoIP and the traditional landline system. For example in some VoIP telephone systems calls to and from external numbers will be done through the traditional landline network but for calls between remote offices within a company the VoIP phone system uses the businesses broadband connection.

Let’s see how much the new phone system manage to cut down on the overhead cost.

My Kids’ 1st Trip to Halo Cafe

When we were in Penang last week, we brought the kids to Halo Cafe for dinner. It’s their first trip there, and we were wondering if they would like the environment. There’s a local artist (not very famous one, :P ) celebrating her birthday there, and she performed a few songs on stage. Both my kids enjoyed the performance, in fact, they were dancing and clapping too!

I wanted to stay back longer for the live band, but they only have it at 9pm, and it’s too late for my kids who were already tired and grumpy. See Isabelle’s “sour” face? She’s sleepy, and moody!

So, we will bring the kids here again next time, when they are older and can sleep late.

Looking for a Bed

Since our king sized bed is really too small for all 4 of us, it’s time to get a new bed for Justin. At first I wanted to buy some fancy sports car type of Kids Beds, but come to think of it, it’s too bulky and doesn’t match my room!

At the same time, can I only buy one kid bed? Isabelle is going to be one in April, and it’s about time she’s learning to sleep on her own, not beside me and treating me like a pacifier *roll eyes*. But if we get 2 kids bed, I don’t think my room if big enough of them!

Gosh, if only the kids are sleep in a separate room, then I don’t mind getting fancy kids bed and the matching furnitures for them. So, I should just ask hubby to get a house instead huh? :P

Daddy’s Boy

Ever since hubby’s back from Bangkok recently, Justin’s been sticking to him like a koala bear.

  • The first thing he asks when he opens his eyes in the morning is “Where’s papa?”
  • If he wakes up in the middle of the night, “papa, papa, papa …”
  • When hubby’s going out, “Papa, follow papa…. *cry*”
  • When hubby’s eating, “Eat papa’s rice, dun want Justin’s rice*
  • When hubby’s taking shower, “*Crying* papa, papa … *
  • When hubby’s watching TV, “Papa, watch Barney. Sit with Justin.”
  • When he’s sleep, “Sleep with papa ….”

He’s so sticking until hubby beh tahan and “sneaked” out to gym yesterday, leaving Justin crying and crying and crying. I was hugging him tightly, watching hubby’s car got out from the house, and just when it’s out of sight, my boy stopped crying and started eating the apple I’d prepared.

See, he’s so good at controlling his dad! :P

Fever

What every mother’s afraid of is taking care of sick kids. They can be very difficult, crying for no apparent reason, “lao kai”, demanding for mommy’s full attention, restless, grumpty….please complete the list!

My kids are down with fever, well, must be too tired traveling around during CNY. We are back in Ipoh, it’s time for them to REST REST REST.

Isabelle: 10 months old

Teeth: 5, and there’s another one coming out.

My baby girl has very sensitive skin, as diagnosed by a skin specialist. I don’t know if I should be sad about this, as she inherited this from me. :( The doctor advised us that we should not let mosquitoes bite her, as much as we could help. So, we are protecting her like a porcelain doll now. :)

She’s taking lesser and lesser milk. In fact, my milk production has gone downhill because of this too. No matter how much I tried to boast it up by nurse and pump, it’s still the same. I think she’s an older baby now, and she’s taking solid food very well, that’s why her milk consumption is getting lesser. But I’m still her pacifier and comforter, she will come to me for a few sucks and leave. At bedtime, I’m still the only one she was to be tucked in with as she needs to nurse to sleep.

She can cruise for a few steps and then continue with crawling. She likes to push the chair like a push wagon and walk. I think she’s gonna walk in another 2 months. She’s very adventurous, and daring too. She’s not afraid of falling down, and even if she fell, she’ll whine for a while and try again. Very tough little girl!

She smiles a lot, after she warms up with the people she meets. She’s eager to play with other kids too nowadays. She doesn’t like dolls or stuffs toys, but prefers to play with Justin’s drawing pad, colour pencils, puzzles, stack blocks and trains. She knows how to scribble with a pencil!!!

When she hears music, she’ll “dance” to it. Sometimes, she’ll “sing”, making sounds and following the tune. I think she’s very sensitive to music, and maybe she can join Kindermusik too.

CIMG0203She knows how to keep the toys in the box, not all, but a few pieces, and claps hands after putting in every single piece to show that she’s a good girl. The more we clap hands to encourage her, the more she will put them in. I should get hubby to capture the way she’s cleaning up the toys and clapping hands with the viewcam!

Lots of people think that she looks like a boy due to her fine and short hair. But what do you think? :) No matter how she looks like, she will always be my princess, and in fact, she looks like me when I was a baby. :)

Bye Bye Amazon Store

I have decided to remove Amazon store from this blog because….. it’s not making any money!!! LOL! In fact, it’s really messing up this blog. *Sigh*

So, now I’m left with Google ads, PPP affiliate and paid post to squeeze money out of this blog, and I’m earning the most from writing paid posts, undoubtedly.

The thing is, I begin to see how rojak it becomes, and thus, I need to start a new blog again. Give me another 90 days or more, and hopefully, this blog is less loaded with paid posts.

Masuk Pencuri

It’s only the 4th day of CNY, but there are already 3 burglaries around my mum’s house. My mum so kiasi and asked me to bring out all my kids angpao and the angpao I prepared to give out everytime we are out!

All these burglars broke in through the roof, and they came in at around 8 – 9 pm. Geng leh… Not middle night one! Anyway, most of the neighbours were not around as well, including us who were busy visiting around and makan makan out.

So, make sure you lock your doors, windows and the CEILING entrance well!
