English translation
A drizzling rain falls like tears on the Mourning Day;
The mourner’s heart is going to break on his way.
Where can a wineshop be found to drown his sad hours?
A cowherd points to a cot ‘mid apricot flowers.
Hubby wanted to bring Justin along for his first “sao mu”. Justin woke up at 6am, and he was rather blur when we dragged him along. Isabelle was not coming with us as she’s too young so this, as according to MIL.
We went to the cemetery at Sungai Siput and it was quite congested. We went having a hard time looking for space to park. Once we got there, I took out my camera and SIL#1 said “No camera, later you took something which is not meant to be taken.”
I was puzzled, and asked hubby can or not? Hubby said go ahead, and so here I was, being the camera-woman!

Some of the offering…

Justin was curious and happy!

Very very crowded!Â

Yeap, it’s illegal, but fire crackers were everywhere.Â

One of Justin’s uncles helped him with the candlesÂ

Justin doing by himself after a while
After that, we walked to another part of the cemetery, and Justin was very tired already…

Very tired and grumpy look

Some relatives went into the estate to answer the nature’s call. LOL!Â
After praying, some of the relatives were asking for “numbers”. Oh boy, we Chinese really love money huh?
We had a little “picnic” there before we left, and Justin slept on the way back. Not only him, all of us was tired too!
