Spoilt By Daddy
I read about Sasha successfully trained Jayden to sleep. Justin used to sleep through the night, but he wakes up for night feeding lately. Got to blame it on hubby who makes the milk for him and gets him into this habit!
Previously, when he woke up at night, I will ask him to go back to sleep and only drink milk at sunrise. But nowadays, he will not obliged. This morning, he woke up at 6am and demanded for a feed. I told him to sleep back and wake up later as it’s too early. So, he started crying “papa, papa, milk milk, I want milk milk, I want milk milk”. Needless to say, Isabelle woke up too, so I nursed her to sleep. But with koh koh screaming in the room, I doubt anyone could go back to dreamland. If hubby’s around, he will immediately fix him the milk.
I told him angrily that he’s too old for night feeding, and daddy has been spoiling him. But well, I got up and made milk too. *Sigh!* I tried to wean him off bottle feeding but he refused. I guess he thinks that he needs the comfort of bottle feeding to get back to sleep, that’s why he develops night feedings again. This morning was good, as it happened at 6am. Sometimes, it’s in the middle of the night, just like a little baby!
Oh, he definitely eats well because he gains weight lately and look chubby again. So, blame it on hubby lah, develop the night feeding again on Justin. ![]()

I share this same problem. My son is turning 2 soon, and he stills wake up at ard 1-2 p.m. for a feed. My mum will blame it on Isomil. Her rationale is that because it’s soy milk, my son becomes hungry faster. Also because he’s taking only 6 ozs of milk. To me - lame excuse.
