We Go Gai Gai

Aunty and Uncle, Koh koh and Jie Jie, Leng Lui and Leng Chai

We are going to KL and Genting from Thursday to Sunday. Mommy said daddy will be working and playing golf in KL, so we will just stay at home, and no gai gai until Saturday. So sorry, cannot meet up with the KL blogger mommies this time as mommy doesn’t have the car to bring us gai gai around. *sob sob* We want to go KLCC also cannot!

But never mind, later when we go to Genting, we will play gao gao, and take lots of photos to show you all huh?

Mei mei is a bit sick, but we will still try to enjoy ourselves. She has to show off mommy’s latest collection for her mah…. Too bad mommy is too tired to rush my vest for me, so next time only I show you all huh?

Ok, very late liao, got to go gao gao chu.

From,

Justin

I started Isabelle with hair band at her full moon party, but everyone was against the idea of seeing her with the tight band on her head. My mum it would hurt her soft scalp, so asked me to remove it.

Since then, I tried to put it one for her but she doesn’t like it. Even nice fancy hats also failed to attract her attention, she will put them off and throw them away. But lately, my little girl begins to show her “oi leng” nature. When we put on the hair band or clips on her, and immediately bring her to the mirror and praise how pretty she is, she is more willing to put it on.

Her hair is really too less to be tied up or clipped, only hair bands work for her now.

Shopping for Fine Art?

I like visiting art gallery, but there are not a lot of galleries in Ipoh. Furthermore, not all the galleries have original painting as they are more expensive, and not many can afford to have them.

Nonetheless, having original artwork is not only buying a painting, it’s about appreciation of fine masterpiece. If you are looking of fine art, Park West Art Gallery is definitely the place to look for one. This is where the world’s largest collection of fine art are being exhibited. They have fine art from various artiest, including one of my favourite one, Csaba Markus whose paintings express the Eternal Feminine in her many guises, both as mortal woman and as mythological goddess.

Their affiliate company, Park West at Sea, conducts cruise ship art auctions around the world. So, which cruise will the auction be now? Just can’t wait to see the art fromPark West Art Gallery :)

My Kids Love McDonald’s

I try not to go to McDonald often, even when Justin is crying for one. I always tell him to wait for hubby to be back, and ask the permission from hubby if we can go. I push the “responsibility” to hubby. :P

This afternoon, hubby wanted to have a quick lunch and pick up the car from the workshop. The workshop was located near McD, so we went there for lunch.

Mommy, we love McDonald’s!!!

But hubby made a mistake of getting Justin the kiddy set which came with Shrek…..

Take it away!!!! Take it away!!! Don’t want, I don’t want!

Justin hates Shrek, maybe he’s really too ugly for him!

OK, enough snapping photos like. Mommy also needed to eat….

Indian Wedding

This is the best Indian wedding I’ve ever been. It’s held at the Syuen Hotel, and I asked hubby, so, are they going to have 8 course dinner like Chinese wedding dinner? Hubby didn’t have a clue though. As usual, my kids came along with us, so I dressed them up nice nice.

One of the rarest and prettiest family photo we have!

We arrived there on time, but just like Chinese wedding, the dinner started late. My kids were restless after waiting for too long. Luckily, when we were waiting anxiously for the food to be served, there were some entertainers singing and dancing on the stage. Isabelle liked it a lot and was dancing along too.

Clockwise from top left
Dancers, nice decorations, the ballroom and the food!!!

But Justin on the other hand was busy snacking on the food, but sometimes he fed Isabelle too.

Koh koh feed mei mei

The dinner started after the bride and groom “arrived”. They entered the room in a unique way, but I was too busy taking care of Isabelle, and didn’t snap any photos. After a while, everyone could makan!!! We were so hungry, and we walloped the food ASAP! :P

The dinner ended at 9.30pm, and my kids were sleepy and grumpy. They fell asleep as soon as hubby finished reading a book.

I Bang Again :P

Yikes, I banged hubby’s Ranger into the fence when I was parking at Yit Fong. :P I didn’t tell hubby yet as I only remember now.

It’s only the side of the fence, so I think the dent should not be too bad. If it’s only a minor dent, then we can just let it be. But if the dent or scratches are really bad, then maybe I should ask hubby to get dent removal from Automotive detailing supplies and see if we can fix it.

But hubby is really not those handy man type. I think if it’s really bad, then just send to the shop lah. Less headache!

School Holiday Starts

Just now, hubby asked me….

Hubby: Tomorrow, Justin need to go to school or not?

Me: Tomorrow Monday, need to go to school.

Hubby: Not holiday meh?

Me: Huh? Nursery got holiday one meh? No one tells me leh….

Hubby: Huh? No holiday meh? Then study whole year?

Me: Not sure lah, I didn’t ask last time. Ya hoh, study whole year ah? Wah….

So, no holiday for Justin, but if we can to go anything, likes say, Orlando rental home, ( LOL! :P ) then just skip school lah. What the heck!

Spanking

I try my best not to hit my kids as I prefer to talk to them than taking the physical punishment approach. But hubby thinks that spanking their hands are ok when necessary. Isabelle still likes to play with sockets and network cables if we didn’t keep an eye on her.

She will try to press the switches, pulling the cables, or just playing with electrical products. I used to joke to hubby that she has out engineering genes, that’s why she likes playing with electrical stuffs, but it’s very dangerous for a kid to touch anything like that.

I hope that her curiosity on sockets will be over soon. It’s been dragging for months.

Big Compound

Yes, my house has a big compound. That’s why I said my kids are growing up in kampung ways because they can run and run in a big compound, even bare footed if they want to.

See the compound at the back of Isabelle?

Of course, it’s not as big as Tuscany Villas, LOL! But it’s considered big enough if you compare to the new houses these days. So, whenever I bring the kids to KL and stay in hubby’s apartment, they will be very uneasy. We are going there this Thursday, so I will be expecting 2 grumpy kids who are fussing about going out. Frankly, I don’t know how to occupy them in such a small house.

Still Clueless about the Room

Hubby promised that he will help me to rearrange the room as soon as he gets back from Penang. I’m still thinking about how to arrange the room, as the placement of the sockets and phone point make it harder for me to shift my PC away from the original spot. I still don’t know how to rearranging the room!

At the same time, we have not gone to any home furniture shop to get the kids mattress yet. I don’t know how the room will turn out to be tomorrow. The wiring should be redo, but where got cable man who works on Sunday? :P
