Fly fly fly, butterfly

In the meadow it’s flying high

In the garden it’s flying low

Fly, fly, fly, oh butterfly

Justin likes this song a lot, so when we told him that we were going to Butterfly Farm, he was so excited. But he got confused, he thought since it’s a farm, he was expecting something like Old MacDonald’s Farm with cows, goats, chickens and etc. Ha! So cute….

There are butterflies everywhere!

I told Justin about butterfly’s life cycle before this trip, so he had got an idea how caterpillar turns into a cocoon and then into a butterfly. He as very happy to see the eggs, the caterpillars and for the first time, he saw pupa, and so many butterflies flying around us.

Justin was very obedient, we told him it’s better to walk at the park than asking daddy to carry him, and he’s walking by himself most of the time.

He’s quite sunny, but the park was shady. Too bad mei mei ’s not coming with us. She will like this park too. I will bring her here again next time.

Besides butterflies, there are other animals and insects too……..

From top left to bottom:

White squirrel, giant milipede, water snake, terrapin, tortoise, iguana, grey’s Malayan stick, Macleay’s Spectre, Moving Leaf, monitor lizard, mandarin ducks, coastal horseshoe crab, koi fish, a nice pond and some flower and I like (dunno the name :P)

I love the butterflies. They will just stop and rest on us! Totally fearless! I got a few rested on my body. At first I was freaking out. Haha! But then I got used to them.
