I brought Justin to get a new mattress, bedding and cabinet yesterday. I told him that mummy and daddy would like to have the bed back, so he will be sleeping with mei mei on the floor, on their new bed. I can just use the old mattress, but I would like them to feel the excitement of transition to a new sleeping location, so I decided to get them a queen size mattress instead. These were what Justin had in mind when we were at the furniture shop, a pink one for Isabelle and a green one for him. But too bad, our room is too small for the set, so they will have to wait until we have our house first, and of course, when they are ready to sleep in separate rooms.

Mommy, buy this!

I got them a 6ft cabinet for their books and toys as the old boxes and rack can’t fit all their stuffs anymore. I told the kids it’s their responsibility to keep the rack as tidy as possible, and it’s not mommy or kakak’s duty to keep the stuffs at their place. If they mess it up and refuse to clean up, the toys will ended up in the garbage truck! And I meant it!

As for the bedding, we went to Eastern Decorator to get it. I wanted to get Elmo, but i couldn’t find it there. So, I may order one online when I have the time to. Justin wanted the bedding to be purple, so I let him choose the design. He got this purple bedding with Mickey and Minnie. When I put it up, both of them were very excited about it!

It is King Koil spring mattress, so Justin likes jumping on it. As for Isabelle, as long as mommy is there to nurse her to sleep, she has no problem going to sleep anywhere.

So, what happened last night? I went to bed late, about 3am. Then Isabelle wanted to nurse, but after nursing, she refused to sleep back. She was tossing around on the bed before she got on to my side. Then, Justin woke up looking for mei mei. I put her back beside him and put both of them to sleep. It’s 4am then. Before I could see chao gong, Isabelle wanted nen nen again. It was about 6am and she slept with me until Justin got up looking for mei mei again. So, he joined us on the bed too.

Needless to say, I didn’t sleep much last night. I will see how things go tonight. It’s 2.22am now, and everything seems to be fine.
