Civic Radiator

I haven’t never driven a Civic, but my best friend is driving one. He is so lucky to have a rich daddy that bought him a nice car and a bungalow, without having him to pay for either of them. But luckily, he is not one of those rich brats that spend his money lavishly like no tomorrow.

He has to pay for the maintenance of the car, and he tries his best to save up on that. So I better let him know that he can get Civic Radiator at a cheaper price if he buys one online. He can just get one but ask someone else to install it for his car without any string attached.

Too bad he is not good enough to DIY by himself huh? That will really safe up a lot of money.

I Hate That Halter

Isabelle refused to put on the crocheted halter in Bali, and we decided not to force her. This morning, she was reluctant again but after some persuasion, she put it on. However, she tried to take it off when we were having breakfast out and she was grumping about it.

Take this off!

 So, seems like my effort is wasted as she doesn’t like the halter at all. What am I going to do with it? Sell it off? :P

Update on Pantai Bersih

For My Dell

I’m using McAfee but someone told me that it is not effective in protecting my laptop. It came with my Dell, so I didn’t think much about it but let it run as usual. However, after my uneventful experience of adware with my PC previously, I cannot take things as lightly as before. It is very distracting knowing that my PC was infected during that period of time.

Maybe I should look for another anti virus software like NOD32 to protect my laptop further. It’s an “one-product-protects-all” software which includes anti virus, anti spyware, exploits, and firewalls. I think it’s pretty cool to have a software like this. Of course, it is not free, but I think the price is quite reasonable.

Let me think about this first. I have bought another spyware a few months ago, but haven’t got it installed. No point getting 2 softwares unless I’m pretty sure that this one is better.

About Cars

Hubby is driving his father’s Mercedes most of the time. FIL is always away and he stays in Bangkok. He will only use the car when he is back occasionally. Since the car is always idle, we may as well make good use of it. Anyway, if a car is not being used for a long period of time, some parts of it will not be performing well anyway.

However, I try my best not to use that car. I am not a careless driver but I feel the pressure when I’m being the wheels. What if I bang the car? What if it is scratched at the parking lot? What if I lost it? So, just let me drive my Ranger in peace and forget about Mercedes. But I will drive one if it is given to me officially. I know that a nice Mercedes is very expensive, so I don’t mind if hubby is getting one of those Used Mercedes for me. However, I will have to be the one choosing the model and color!!!

If you are looking for second-handed Mercedes, you better get them from reputable Mercedes Dealers, like those from Vcars. They are specialized in selling Used Cars and you can easily find the models and year of manufacturing that you are looking for. I tried to look for a Mercedes CLS, and surprisingly, I found a handful of them. I won’t be buying any as they are very expensive and I just can’t afford it. Furthermore, hubby doesn’t say anything about getting me a nice Mercedes!

So, how to persuade hubby into getting me a car? I don’t want him to pay for it, but I will ask him to charge it to his company’s expenses. See? I’m a smart wife huh? I got a car, but none of us will be paying anything. Don’t you think that is a brilliant idea? But I don’t think he will agree with it. It will be hard for him to answer the questions from his dad. :P

Hubby Misses Golf

When we were in Bali, hubby whined that he missed golf as he didn’t have a chance to try out the golf course in Nusa Dua. So, I told him we will plan a trip that he can play as much golf as possible until he pukes. LOL! I know him very well, he will feel uneasy if he cannot tee off at any golf courses that he sees.

Maybe he should go for a golfing trip with his friends to Puerto Rico.

I found out that some of the golf courses are located at hotels or resorts. So I guess the guys can just play all day long if they want, they don’t have to go out for anything anyway.

But if the kids and I would to come along, I hope that we will be staying near the beaches. Maybe my kids will learn to love the beaches by then and we can have some time playing by the sea. Anyway, it all depends on the budget. If it’s affordable, then all of us will be going together. If not, then hubby will have chance of enjoying a nice golfing trip with his friends. That’s what he has always been hoping for.

This and That

Baby Elizabeth is sick and we had just gone back from visiting her at the hospital. She’s down with fever, but Healy decided to bring her home tonight. I just hope that she will recover soon but it’s good to see her bring active and alert.

We are back to Penang until the weekend, and hopefully I have time to update about our trip to Bali at my travel blog. So far, I only managed to do 2 posts. But if my mum is around to help me with the kids, maybe I will be able to speed things up. I have taken more than 500 photos for 4 days, but I have to go through the photos first.

It’s a nice trip for all of us, but Justin said he didn’t want to go there again. :P I don’t know why, maybe the waves and beaches scared him already. Isabelle on the other hand was doing fine, and she walked a lot!!! It was easy to travel with her.

But stay tune for more updates about the trip. Frankly, even if there is no reader, but I will still update about Bali, it’s one of the greatest family moments to us. :)

Dogs

One of the thing my kids love about Bali is the animals that they saw by the street. There are a lot of cows, cats, chickens, ducks and dogs all the way from Kuta to Nusa Dua, the place that we were staying in for the past 4 days. When we were at the the beach one night, Justin saw a dog and asked me, “Mommy, where does the dog sleep?” It’s a stray dog, so I told him that the dog slept anywhere. He seemed to me confused by my answer.

Our neighbor has 2 dogs, but they put them in separate cages. Not many families keep their dogs in kennels or get dog beds to pamper their dogs. But if I have a dog, I would surely spend some money in getting it a nice dog bed. I used to have a dog, and we put it to sleep in a basket. I was a student, so I couldn’t afford to get her a dog bed. But now, I have the financial ability to get one just like this:

If you think it is a sofa, you are wrong! It’s a humpback couch for a dog. I know any dog will just love to laze on the couch, just look at how comfortable it is! Besides, I can get the dog bed personalized with its name on it, that sounds very cool huh? But firstly, when can we have a dog?

We Are Back!

We arrived late last night, and the first thing in my mind was “Home is Good!”

Justin was eager to be back too because he misses his bolsters as he had been sleeping without it for a few nights. Isabelle on the other hand was doing fine, and she’s the only one who is not having flu or sore throat! All of us are not feeling well and down with flu last night. Maybe we have been very tired after the trip.

Anyway, Bali is great and I have a lot of photos!!! Give me some time to upload them and blog about it. :)
