Cheap or Expensive Kids Clothes?

I read from a few mommies’ blogs about getting wholesale clothing from some children’s brands at the warehouse, and I feel to jealous! Imagine how much can I save up if I get those clothes for my kids?

I don’t buy lots of branded clothing for my kids unless on special occasions. They mess up their clothes because they like to eat by themselves when we go gai gai, so if the clothes are expensive, I will be very sakit hati. If the clothes are cheap, dirty then dirty lah. Who cares? Just wash or dump away after wearing for a few times.

If I can get at wholesale price, wa lau leh, I will be grabbing like crazy.

My wife and I are always looking for ways to save money on clothes for the kids and we have an idea for an exchange type of site where you could check out clothes like you would a book at the library, you just pay shipping and a mimimal annual fee. Like I said it’s just an idea at the moment so I guess I’m just writing to see if that sounds like something other parents would be interested in.

Think of getting all those clothes out of your house, others get use out of them and you get the use of others clothes for next to nothing.

    Any thoughts or reactions?

David, it sounds like a good idea, but most of the time, I give the clothes away to charity or orphanage. I have always been doing that. :) But thanks for sharing.
