Isabelle: 17 months old

Height: 79cm
Weight: 9kg
I was supposed to update about Isabelle on Sunday night, but since the domain is down, there is a slight delay.
Anyway, my little gal is 17 months old now. She’s getting better at expressing herself with her self created signs but sometimes I have no idea what she’s trying to say as well. LOL! Just now, when she was playing in her pool after her bathe, she stood up and give me the milk milk sign with “mm mmm”. I thought she wanted milk but now, she wanted to poo. LOL!
She refuses to copy us when we ask her to learn how to speak. So her progress in speech is a bit slow. So far, she knows “woof woof”, mama, papa, pao pao, yi er (one, two in Chinese), chu (pig), ah (horse in Chinese), yi ya (chicken and duck) and that’s about it! I notice that she tends to pick up Chinese as comparing to English, maybe she’s spending more time with jie jie who speaks in Chinese, so she prefers to learn that language first. But it’s always good to have a few languages, so I still speak to her in English most of the time.
She is very vain, just as oi leng as me. She likes to look at the mirror and smile. Both of us will do it at the same time after brushing teeth or combing her hair. She begins to love putting hair clips on her hair and she loves it when we tell her she is a leng lui. Besides that, she likes to put on lotion on herself and she knows how to open the covers of most of my creams now. Thus, before I know it, she will be finishing my body shop supplies in no time.
I have been thinking if she should go to school with Justin as they take in children as young as 18 months old. I’m not sure if she’s ready, but she seems very keen to follow koh koh in the morning. Maybe she is just curious. But 18 months old at school, too early huh?

Can let her try on few classes to see if she really likes it…no harm if she really love school…

WS, ya, I’m think about that too, maybe by the end of the year.
