She’s Getting Better

I hardly blog about my kids for the past 3 days as Isabelle was sick. She had some fever and coughing, and on the 3rd day, hubby took her to the clinic. Her paed gave her some medicine, and of course, a lollipop too and this morning, she’s my cheerful little girl again. Both of us haven’t sleep for more 3 nights, but last night, she slept well. The medication helped her to doze off instead of waking up for coughing.

We brought her out for breakfast this morning. She was active and showing a healthy appetite. Really, if a kid is sick, the rest of us will not be happy too. I’m glad that she’s feeling well now and we can have some weekend activities for the kids.

Future Musicians?

My kids have been in music class for quite some time. When I told someone when they are having lessons in Kindermusik, they thought that I’m “forcing” my kids into piano or any musical instruments! LOL! Maybe not all parents are aware of it.

Hubby has some cousins whose children are very talented in music. One of them play the piano, drum, saxophone and maybe some other instruments but I’m not aware of. He’s performing for church or private function too and he is now going to music school for his degree.

Maybe one day he will need a helpful computer music software to help him in producing his songs. I heard that he’s trying compose some songs for his band too. It would be good if he can really be famous one day.

So, will my kids be so good at music? I’m not sure about that, but they love their class. That’s good enough for the time being.

Justin’s Clothes Choice

Justin has developed his fashion sense. He likes only yellow and purple and clothes with horse, zebra, lion, elephants and of course Barney. Just now he had a little fight with me.

He was all dressed in his pajamas with some planes designs but he took it off by himself. Yes, he can do it now! Then he was demanding for his yellow buttoned pajamas but he had just worn it days ago so it’s still being placed on the laundry chair downstairs. No matter how I persuaded him to get the other pajamas, he just wouldn’t listen to me. So, out of frustration, I went out of the room and asked my maid to look for it.

Then, he was so happy to see his pajamas and he started dressing himself up. Yes, he knows how to do that now! He likes anything with buttons and he will insist on buttoning up by himself. Unless he needs help, if not he doesn’t want anyone to touch the buttons.

I was busy with Isabelle who might be teething again. She’s super grumpy today. So, I couldn’t pay all my attention on Justin, but luckily, he got everything done by himself. So, I’m so proud of his little achievement again today. :) Even if we had a little “fight” but we hugged and apologized. It’s good to see him getting more and more independent.

Lots of Tomatoes

MIL has been asking hubby and BIL to take a lot of tomatoes lately. She said tomatoes are great to prevent prostate cancer. O.o

It may sound embarrassing, but she is just trying to take care of her sons’ health. So, we are having lots of tomatoes, both raw and cooked. Justin said one day, “Huh? Why so many tomatoes? Not nice. I don’t want tomatoes.” But on the other hand, Isabelle just takes whatever dish that comes with the rice. She’s is less picky than Justin.

On top of that, we read about prostate cancer symptoms as well because MIL demanded that we take a look at it. If you are a family friend of us, you would know how health conscious my MIL can be sometimes. She likes to keep newspaper cutting of health topics. But I would prefer to read up from the internet, just check out HIFU and you can find lots of information about prostate cancer.

Anyway, taking care of our health is something we should be doing continuously. That’s why I sleep a lot now, Tannie!!!

I Lost My Posts!

I published 2 posts last night once my web host said the site is ready, but thing morning I woke up finding the posts were missing!!! What’s going on???

Gee, I wrote something about Justin, about what happened last night. It’s full of my thoughts and feelings, but now it’s gone. I can write it again, but the emotion is different now so the post may sound different too.

Frankly, I hate to lose any posts of mine. Really… Got to kacau my web host from his beauty sleep now. LOL!

I Love Year End

It’s going to be October in a few days. I have always love it when it’s getting nearer to the season of greetings when we will have a few celebrations like my wedding anniversary, my birthday, my boy’s birthday and not to forget, Christmas!

We are supposed to celebrate everything in Australia or Hong Kong, but hubby doesn’t seem to keen about it as he is very busy with his work now. He cannot take leave for more than 3 days, so an oversea trip is impossible at the moment. Thus, we will most probably celebrate all of them at home or in Penang. If possible, I hope that my brother will organize a Christmas party again, just like a year ago. *Healy, get my hint? :P *

I’m too lazy to organize anything but I can help out on sending Christmas party invitations. I just have to print the cards and send them out to friends and relatives, how hard can it be?

So, who wants to come?

Justin’s Writing Skill

I thought he would not be learning about writing so soon but I was wrong. He showed lots of interest in holding the pencil so I bought him this maze book from Kumon last month.

CIMG7430

I kept it in his drawer, and one day, he took one the book and ask me to do his work with him. He likes to have some “homework” now which he does after Isabelle’s asleep so that I can pay full attention on him. After some guidance, he is able to do the maze by himself now.

We took video clips of him doing his work too as if it’s something special. LOL! Maybe it’s special to us as parents, so we are very excited about the achievement of his motor skill now. He can recognize some of the letters and numbers, but he hasn’t got to that yet. What’s the hurry? He’s only 34 months. :)

The Kids Love Fish

CIMG6224

I’m not a fish lover, I only like fish when they are dead and cooked. When I went snorkeling, I was swimming away from the fishes as I didn’t want them to touch me. But some stupid tourists kept feeding the fishes and all of them were staying around the platform and I had a hard time getting down the water. Gee….it’s not a pleasant experience to me when the fishes were “carelessing” me.

CIMG6220

On the other hand, my kids love fish. They like to look at the fishes at the restaurants and sometimes, they will just stand by the fish tanks and watch for so long, all of us can have a decent meal! Yippie! Besides acrylic aquariums with tropical fish, my kids love the fish ponds build in the restaurants too. As long as the fencing or glass is well protecting them from falling off, I don’t mind Justin go near for a closer look. But for Isabelle, I will still have to watch her. Justin says he will take care of her but I can’t leave them alone by themselves.

Maybe we should have fishes at home huh? It’s not hard to get the aquarium supplies anyway.

No, I’m Not Making 10k Per Month

I know there will not be any vacation for us again, not until we get the green light from hubby who said that he’s so busy with his business. Oh well, I’m the only one who’s eager to go for holiday every single day anyway. But I know that he’s doing his best and last night he told me to go to bed and forget about all the blogs. He said I don’t need those money so leave them alone. He did have a point, and I just don’t know why am I chasing after that thrill?

But with the money I made, even if it’s not for our household expenses, I can seriously do something about it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not making USD10l per month, it’s an amount accumulated after 10 months. So it’s still not enough to get a nice house from Branson Missouri real estate market. One of the reasons why I love that place is they are nice golf courses, and it’s something hubby enjoys playing everyday if possible. He wants to retire and become a golfer, a senior golfer I supposed. LOL!

So if you are the money to invest in property, think about Branson Real Estate and Golf Resort Lodging. I sure hope one day we can stay as near as the golf course too. Then I know where hubby is all the time. :P

Pao Pao Pao Pao

I’m going through a stage when Isabelle is constantly demanding me to carry her, unless her cousin sister is at home. She likes to play with jie jie, but when she’s not around, Isabelle is more like a glue to me now.

This morning, at MSN, my blog buddy said she’s typing standing up as her baby is also gluing to her. I don’t have to type standing up though, my my gal will stick to me as close as possible. So, I’m carrying her around more often until my arms and shoulders are hurt. Now, I prefer to piggy back her, it’s easier like this. She doesn’t want the sarong sling, if not things will be easier for me.

I guess it’s just a phrase as I vaguely remember Justin was acting like this too. So, walking toddler will suddenly become a carrying toddler huh? Quite common hoh?
