I’m very disappointed that my home office blog which is more business based had been demoted to PR2. Google is up to “punishing” those sites that are suspected with buying or selling text link ads, but just try to be realistic about this, how many companies which are not promoting their sites with text link advertising?

By penalizing the page ranks of these blogs, Google may have a scaring impact on imitating those who are still trying to sell text links and monetizing their blogs. However, from a company’s point of view, I still think text link ads is crucial in marketing and advertising, and not to mention, it helps to bring up the placement in SEO as well. There are so many other search engines, so text link ads will still have a future, even if the power of Google is undeniable.
