Sum Thong…

I have to admit that I can’t be there for my kids 24/7. I go out when they are taking their naps, or go for yoga in the evening, even if my kids are playing outside. I tend to skip my class to be with the kids, but my maid assured me that everything is going to be fine. Oh well, most of the time my kids are alright.

But this evening, Isabelle fell when I was attending my yoga class and when I saw her face once I stepped into the house, I felt so bad about it. I know that it’s an accident and she has a lot of boo boo occasionally even if I’m watching her. I played with them yesterday and she fell off her wagon and hurt the back of her head. Hubby was very sum thong when I told him about this. He’s away, by the way.

Then she fell again today. Gee…why she falls so often? My maid said she’s trying to catch up with Justin’s tricycle but she couldn’t balance herself and she fell face down. Alamak, her face is really bad now. Besides the bruise by the eye, there is another cut on her chin. My parents are going to faint when they see this, and even MIL also made noise. *sigh*

I called hubby again and told him about this. Another sum thong for papa who’s not coming back yet. Gee…. That’s why I only try my best to go out when the kids are sleeping, at least I know they are not running around and risk themselves from getting hurt. Unless we are back to my parents’ place, most of the time, hubby and I prefer to bring the kids along wherever we go. My maid has a lot of work to do and she can’t be watchful all the time.

That’s why I only manage to go for drinks or catch a movie when we are back in Penang, and we only watch the midnight show. Oh ya, I am so happy that I got to watch Lust, Caution. I miss the Hairspray tickets even though I heard that it’s nice. But it’s ok, I would rather miss the movies than having sum thong moments like this. It’s so easy to get DVD these days, so why worry?
