I have been thinking about introducing playdough to my kids but it’s Isabelle that I’m worrying about. Even if Playdough is quite safe, but it’s not suitable for kids as young as Isabelle yet. Thus, I might have to ask the kids to put on the aprons and do the playdough by ourselves. They seemed to be enjoying it when we did tang yuan many months ago, and we will have another tang yuan next month. Maybe from there I will be able to judge if Isabelle is ready for something like this.

At the same time, I’m keeping a copy of playdough recipe for my own reference. I might need it one day.

  1. Not sure if there is a Tesco in Ipoh. If yes, you can get one for both your kiddo. It’s a Tesco brand, i think imported all the way from UK.

  2. WS, I saw, it’s not the original brand and way much cheaper too. But I got to check out the minimum recommended age first. My gal seems to be too young for those commercial playdough.

  3. My sis bought it for the boys. The older one enjoys it but the younger one who is extremely”wei sek”, actually ate the dough. Aiyo… So you may want to be careful with Isabelle.

Also it can be quite messy with bits of dough stuck to the floor and their clothes. I only let them play it under watchful eyes now. It is fun toy actually.

  4. WMD, that’s why, I’m afraid that she will eat it! Maybe I will try the home made version first, if I can get the ingredients. If not, I will buy some and let them try out. Oh ya, the mess, gee…I hate that too.
