shoppingmum I will be sending Justin to school for a few days, so this morning, I decided to let Isabelle join him for a while since she’s in the car. She was excited about it, and she tried her best to be like the other kids. She would get the toys by herself and carry them to the table. She needed some help for the chair as once she’s seated down, she couldn’t push it in. She’s still very tiny!
My maid and I went in and sat at the corner. She didn’t even bother about us, but only wanted to stick to Justin. However, Justin was called to join the other group of children, and Isabelle was left with the young kids that need more guidance.
The teacher showed her how to join them up…

It didn’t take her too long to master it, and she’s very proud of herself.
Once she’s done with the work, she placed them back and the teacher got her another set.

She couldn’t do this, and she needed a lot of guidance.
On the other hand, I got a peep at how Justin is performing at school now. Some of the parents told me he’s very good and independent at school and I saw with my own eyes today. He’s quick at his work, and he kept changing them until the teacher asked him to work on the alphabet puzzle. He still can’t recognize all the letters, but he was willing to ask when he’s not sure about the name of the letters. He has no problem arranging them into the puzzles though.

Another sorting work and he said he wanted mei mei to go to school with him.
Isabelle was asked to play with the blocks but she refused. She wanted the shape sorter, but this one is totally different from the sets we have at home. She was having some problem with this too, and once she’s guided and completed her work, she wanted something else. Give up liao ah? LOL!
This is hard for her…
She went and got the stacking rings. We have a few sets at home, but I don’t think all of them are complete as the kids keep losing the rings! But as I’ve expected…
She doesn’t know how to sort them from big to small.
However, I know that she will be doing great once she gets more practice with the toys. She also joined the kids for tea break, but she had a little accident….
Break time
When everyone was done, she was still eating her bread. Maybe she’s the youngest so she was kind of slow. When she saw everyone’s leaving the eating corner, she stuffed the whole thing in and almost choked! I was there, so I took out the bread and she vomited. After that, she wanted to go home. The teachers said they will cut everything in smaller pieces for her next time as she has the tendency of stuffing everything in when she’s rushing. Thank God I was there! And I know what to do when a kid is choking.
I asked her just now if she wanted to go to school tomorrow, she shook her head. LOL! I guess she’s got scared again. It’s ok, it’s just trying out. If she doesn’t like it, she can always stick to me in the morning. Actually, if she goes to school, I will have to be with her for a week or two. I will not be having my morning nap (yes, I curi curi sometimes. LOL) and I wonder how dreadful I will look like 2 weeks later. Die loh, I will sure waste money getting skincare products like skinceuticals or SKII later. But if she really likes it, I will have to sleep early these days and forget about staying up late at night.
