The Last Day of 2007
I don’t have the habit of making new year’s resolution, but I have a plan for myself next year. If we are moving away, I will get lots of yarns for my knitting projects throughout the year, and source for home teaching materials for my kids. I might want to get them started with home learning until they are ready for the new term at international schools, which is extremely costly! I joked with hubby that we are buying a Honda City with cash every year, if two of our kids are going to school. If we can’t make that much, we will definitely end up with debts and one day, we will need debt consolidation to get things through. He said he will try his best to make more money, if his moving plan is on.
Actually, if I have debts, I will make my effort into reducing them throughout the new year. Leading a debt free life is possible, if you know how to control your spending and plan your money well. If you really need help, consult those financial advisers. I found that most people are only concentrating on working to pay off the debt but by paying the minimum payment, it’s taking them too long to reach the goal.
Luckily, I don’t have to worry about this. All I want for the new year is spending more time with my kids and hubby. Of course, knitting and crocheting will still be my main hobbies.
