I bought some baby carrots for Justin and he refused to take them as snacks at first. Then, I came out with the story about how a horse rider ate lots of carrots for good eyesight and he could see anything as far as the horizon. I know the story is lame but most importantly, my boy eats the carrots now when he remembers my story. LOL!

Both hubby and I don’t have good eyesight, and we hope that our kids will have better luck than us. But if they really have vision problem, then we can’t avoid getting them a pair of glasses. Luckily, most kids glasses are quite cheap and they are made of plastic. But if you don’t mind paying more for the glasses, get those fashionable designs. I would definitely get one that suit my face and doesn’t make me look like a nerd when I’m putting it on.

But then again, I hope that my kids can be away from glasses if possible. Let’s hope that my carrot story can still work its magic.
