My kids have some gold necklaces but I won’t let them wear any now. Some of my friends will let their children put on gold jewelry during Chinese New Year, but I’m worried about their safety since the world is definitely not a safer place now.

I would rather keep the gold for them or buy some as investment under their names. It’s like a long term investment and if they want to sell it off when they are old enough, the money will be theirs. SIL’s mother gave her gal a gold bullion as birthday present, so maybe it’s a good idea to do the same for my kids too. I will just buy and keep for them, and hopefully the price will keep on growing and increasing!

But before that, let’s hope that hubby can make more money for buying gold!
