I love reading to my kids, but hubby is doing it more frequently than I do now. He’s not traveling much lately, and he’s the one who reads to the kids while I can just knit or blog. :P

We try not to buy too many books now as it’s a lot of work trying to move them to Bangkok later. Thus, I have been looking for some short stories for my kids, but I can’t seem to memorize the stories yet! Nonetheless, if you are just looking for short stories for your reading pleasure, you can find some at Weekly Shorts. Not all the stories are suitable for kids though, and I only found one titled Maestro which is a story about a hen which likes piano and her friend Hannah which is a horse!

My kids are very much into horses these days, so maybe they will like it. Too bad no illustration is available as for their age, they prefer stories with pictures. Gosh, don’t suggest that I should draw out the story ok? But if you have short stories to share, just join in the fun at Weekly Shorts. Let me know if it’s suitable for kids, I will read it.
