I Can Do It By Myself (Part 2)
Isabelle can be a sweet little girl most of the time, but her tendency to be “independent” drives me nuts sometimes. She has her “fashion” sense developed but there are times when she refuses to wear what I pick for her and she will insist on getting her own clothes. Sometimes, I go out with 2 kids that look like they have parents with bad clothing taste.

Just now, she wanted to put on her shoes by herself with minimum help. I’m glad that she’s wiling to learn how to put on her shoes, but she wanted to pull out the shoe tongue.

I don’t know where she got this idea from, but that’s what she wanted. So, I just hope that she will get some “common sense” about how we wear our clothes and shoes, and follow the norms one day. ![]()
