The kids supposed to follow hubby and the rest of his family to the cemetery this morning, but they didn’t go. Both of them had mild fever, running nose and some coughing. I think it’s best for them to rest at home instead of staying in the sun for the whole morning. After all, sao muk is going to be too tiring for them. They have always do this again for the next cheng meng, if we are back for holiday!

Besides that, I don’t feel good about bringing young children to cemetery. But if MIL insists on carrying out the family tradition, that the kids will have to follow. So maybe later they will carry out the family tradition on their own when they are older.

But no matter what, I hope that we won’t get a house anywhere near the cemetery. It’s too creepy. Even if you give me a free unit which is as nice as those Branson property, I won’t stay there. Maybe I’ve been watching too much Ghost Whisperer lately, so I’m kind of kiasi about things I can’t see.
