To The Beach and Turtle Hatching Center: Part 2

After spending some time at the beach, we walked back to the turtle hatching center. It’s still not open even if it’s way past the visiting hour, so the kids played by the gate.

Exploring around

Some tourist caught some crabs from the beach and the kids were all curious about them.

Crabs!!!

Every once in a while, my kids checked out the gate and there’s no sign of the persons in charged coming back from their morning break.

Li Wei koh koh, you open the gate lah.

Some tourist left though, but my kids refused to leave. They were hot and hungry, so we let them have some lollipops.

We got lolli!

But those people were really “ko fan”. They didn’t return the whole morning, so everyone’s frustrated.

We are angry!

It was about 12pm but there’s still no sign of anyone coming back from their morning break. So, we went for lunch at Damai Laut. It’s not too far from here and the kids were hungry.Hubby took some photos of the kids by the swimming pool and here they are:

So sunny

Flashing their typical smiles.

Hubby and I wanted to go home straight after lunch but Justin begged us to return to the center. We were glad to see the gate was open when we reached there. Isabelle fell asleep but she woke up immediately when we told her that she could see the turtles!

We got in, finally!

Here’s one big turtle. LOL!

Shoppingmum and kids. :)

I have some photos of the center posted on my travel blog and you may hop over and read about my review too.  Anyway, as long as the kids are happy, the trip is all worth it.

Flowers

I still keep the flowers hubby gave me on Valentine’s Day, but it’s not in the room. My maid suggested that I keep them as dry flowers so the whole bouquet was being hung somewhere in the house and it doesn’t smell good.

That’s the thing about fresh flowers. they don’t stay fresh for long. But flowers are always a nice gift to someone special if she appreciates them. Besides that, they beautify the rooms too if you know how to do flower arrangement. I might want to learn this someday when I have more time for myself. It would be nice to have some flowers in the new home.

To The Beach and Turtle Hatching Center: Part 1

I’m sorry that it took so long to post about our trip to Pantai Pasir Panjang 2 weeks ago, and here are the photos.

Date: 16 March 2008

We woke up early and drove all the way to Pantai Pasir Panjang that Sunday morning because we knew that the turtle hatching center opens at 10am. But we didn’t have a chance to go in, and if you are wondering why, check out my rants here.

We spent some time at the beach though, but it’s not something I expected. I hate dirty beaches especially those with lots of rubbish left over by some ignorance tourists!  However, I tried not to spoil my kids’ mood, especially Justin as he has been asking us to bring him to the beach.

Mummy, we take off our shoes huh?

Wah, the sand is soft.

Isabelle stayed close with SIL, she hates the water. :P

Mommy, help!!! Wet wet liao…

Justin wanted to build a sandcastle, without a bucket! :P

We didn’t spend too much time on the beach as it’s really sunny. Besides that, the kids were eager to see the turtles so they headed back to the hatching center after a while. I know the beach is yucking but the kids enjoyed playing among themselves that morning. :)

We had fun!

Back to Posting!

I can’t update the blogs for a while because my sites were being migrated to another server. But now, I’m back! There are some backdated posts, but I will try my best to update all of them. It’s for the kids’ reference anyway, so I’m obliged to write.

Frankly, have you ever thought of how long your kid’s blog will last? I think it will come to a point when I will stop updating about them in public but make this site private. Maybe one day my kid will ask me to do so, then this blog will not be found in the search engines anymore.

Or maybe I will just post about them without the photos? Mmm…I haven’t made up my mind.

No Sports Car

I used to like sports cars like Mustang and Porsche because I think it’s cool to be driving one on the road. Of course, I have never been rich enough to own any sports car, and after being a mother, it’s not practical to have one too. Most sports cars are too small for baby seats, so why do I need one?

Unless I’m so rich and I have own a few cars, then I don’t mind buying a sports car. No second handed sports car for me as who knows if the Mustang Radiator will still be working well? Only brand new Mustang or Porsche. Gee…I’m so greedy. LOL!

Topless Photos

Frankly, I was hesitated when I posted the topless photo of my kids. I wrote my opinion about naked photos of kids, but I tried to convince myself that they still had their bottoms on and hubby didn’t say a word when he read the post.

I thought that if Isabelle looked rather blur in the pic, it should be ok. But then, after seeing what Wen commented, I doubted my decision again. So, I blurred the photo more. :P

Better now huh?

This and That in KL

We brought the kids out every night during those days in KL. Once hubby stepped into the apartment, they would ask him to bring them gai gai. They must be really bored staying in the house the whole day! But they did some art and craft during the day though, and it’s a messy game for them.

After dinner, we would bring them to the playland or playground. They are used to running around back home in Ipoh, so it’s best to let them do the same as well when we stayed in KL.

Some photos taken at the playland:

Wait…got to go on horse riding first!

Mommy, I cook for you huh?

Let’s go down together!

This is fun!!!

Playing in the playhouse they have always wanted but daddy said cannot buy. :P

Climbing up up up!

So many balls…

Justin asked us to buy this at ToysRus sometime ago, but again, daddy said no. :P

Some photos taken at the playground:

Mei mei faster, koh koh’s coming.

Naughty girl coming down the tunnel lying tummy down. :P

Mei mei, the slide is wet, but don’t care la, mei mei let’s go down.

We brought the kids to the theme park at Times Square after spending time at the playground but we arrived there after 9pm. It closes after 10pm and hubby said “men tai” to go in and play only for an hour. Besides that, most of the rides are not suitable for younger kids.

At Times Square

Nonetheless, I’m eager to try out the roller coaster. Maybe one day I will go for a ride.

To The Beach Today

I have so much to update about my kids lately but I don’t have the time to do so. I don’t have time to blog hop as well, so sorry if I haven’t been to your blogs lately.

We went to the beach today, but it’s more like checking out the turtle hatching center. More updates will be coming soon by this week, and hopefully I’m not too tired for blogging. I did a post about the center at my travel blog though, so if you are interested, just hop over.

My house is quite messy now since the day my maid has gone home. Gee…no maid can die wan. :P

First Night In KL

When we were in KL, my kids stayed at home with me all day long until hubby came back from work in the late evening. They were excited to see papa because they couldn’t wait to spend some time with him instead of seeing mommy 24 hours a day.

On the first night, we brought the kids out to Midvalley. After a heavy dinner, we did some window shopping at The Gardens but the kids enjoyed themselves snapping photos with their toy cameras. Hubby said they got this habit from me. :P

My camera…

Mommy, smile please…

My cheeky girl

My handsome boy, and that’s mei mei snapping photo with her toy camera

But mommy didn’t snap lots photos at The Gardens. What mommy had in mind was whether I should get something nice from The Coach? LOL! Of course, I didn’t get anything. I have to save up for the kids’ education fees, remember? Unless I can make lots of money writing reviews about car insurance online now, if not I have to say bye bye to designer brands. *sob sob*

10 Years Next Year

Hubby and I have been together for 9 years now and we supposed to go to Hawaii on our 10 years anniversary. He promised me a nice trip to Hawaii when we were dating, but he only remembered this last year after a “friendly” reminder from me. :P

I know that he’s working hard for a better future by moving to Bangkok, and we need a lot of money for this plan. I don’t think we have the budget for a fancy honeymoon in the near future, so I can forget about the trip to Hawaii now. Hubby never mentioned anything about it either, maybe he’s forgotten about it again or he’s pretending that the promise never exists?

Anyway, I don’t really mind if we can’t make it next year as long as he gives me a unique anniversary gift. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, but please don’t give me flowers anymore. I have had enough of flowers every Valentine’s Day, and I hope to receive something like shares of stocks that will bring me lots of money in the future other than flowers!

If you are wondering if I’m preparing anything for him, yes I am. I am knitting a vest for him, but due to the numerous knitting projects for my kids, I keep putting the vest aside. However, I made up my mind of not buying any yarn balls until I’ve completed his vest. That sounds fair enough huh?
