The Wrong Puzzle
Isabelle was bored with her old wooden animal puzzle, so I decided to get her another set. Little that I know, she has developed so fast, block puzzles are quite boring to her now. Last weekend, we grabbed a set of wooden farm animal puzzle for her and what do you know? She played for less than 2 minutes, got the puzzle done and voila. The set has been left untouched since then. It’s too easy for her!!!

The new set from Toy’R'Us

Easy only mah…
I wanted to start her on paper puzzles but I can’t find the sets which I bought for Justin previously. Some of the pieces are lost, and I tried to get new sets for her. She loves one of the sets which is about nursery rhymes, and if I’m not mistaken, I got it from MPH. I bought a few sets from the same company but I can’t find them anymore. I can only find the big floor puzzles from that company, but they are not suitable for her.
She can do pretty well with the stacking blocks too. Justin thought her to build tunnels and buildings with the blocks and play them together with the mini train set. This is what she did some days ago:

She did this all by herself
Gee…I got to look for other puzzles or educational toys for her. Any suggestion? What are your kids playing when they are about Isabelle’s age?

Wow… Isabelle so clever d. The tunnels look firm and nice.
Can pass over the farm puzzle to your niece or not, Kuku! hehe….. I think Elizabeth will be interested. As she has non of it yet. She loves animals.

I have gotten 4 sets of puzzle for Ern and she liked it so much. Infect, I started the puzzle set meant for 3-5 years old for Ern, eg the Opposite Puzzla (like hot & cold, in & out)
It’s owned by my friend, Neoh whom is a Montesorri trained from London. Dropped her a mail (neoh@mytoysandbooks.com) to ask her to recommend what is good for Isabelle, so as Justin.

WS, thanks for the link! I’m impressed with the variety of toys available at the site. I will drop her an email ASAP and see what she will recommend for my kids. Thanks!
Zara’s mama, ya, that’s the thing about block puzzle, the life span is shorter, in terms of how long the kid is playing with it. I’m going to look for the 4×6 puzzles this week,
