Targeted Traffic

I’m not one of those bloggers who check their number of visitors everyday and monitoring their traffic. Nonetheless, if I’m running a company website or a webstore, I would certainly hope that I will get as many unique visits per day as possible. Besides that, won’t it be great if we can target the desired demographics?

For example, hubby and I might be running a business in Thailand and we are only hoping to get customers from Asia. So, if you are looking for web traffic signups which provide country-specific targeted visitors, check out the traffic packages available by traffic signups dot com. Besides country-specific visitors, you can always target for adult traffic or any demographic of your interest.

For those who are running an online business targeted for US market, trafficsignups.com offers guaranteed USA signups which are not incentivized. So, you can be assure that your visitors are genuinely interested in your products since they are not being paid to visit your sites.

Thus, if you are interested, just check out the links provided above. This company provides money back guarantee too, so if you are not convinced, they will refund the pro-rated amount to you within the allocated 30 days period.  That sounds like a good deal huh?

Tang Yuan (Glutinous Rice Balls)

It’s the school holiday and my kids are having more fun than ever. Their cousins will stay at home to play with them sometimes, so I have more babysitters to watch over Justin and Isabelle. LOL! But we have to think of something to keep the kids busy, if not they will only be watching DVD, fighting for toys, climbing up and down the exercise machine or digging the drawers for pocket watch or anything they can find.

Yesterday, MIL bought some glutinous rice flour for the kids to prepare tang yuan. I have always wanted to buy the Playdough set but I’m worried about Isabelle mistakenly put the dough in her mouth, so it’s safer for her to play with glutinous rice flour.

Making tang yuan

They really enjoyed the making process yesterday, but not all the tang yuan were round. Those in longer forms were made by Justin and Isabelle who don’t know how to roll the rice balls yet.

Not so pretty tang yuan huh?

Tang Yuan

They seemed to enjoy drinking the soup but Justin and Isabelle still don’t know how to chew the sticky rice balls. Mmm…maybe we should try sushi some other day. They did sushi a few times, but I didn’t snap any photos as my hands were busy. How about baking a cake? That would be something nice to occupy their free time now.

Conversation with Justin

Justin talks a lot. Sometimes, he will talk for every letter that he writes when he’s doing his homework, so he’s pretty slow at finishing his work. I asked if he talks that much at school, he said no, he only talks a lot at home. LOL!

I had a few conversation with him which I want him to know, when he’s old enough to read this blog…

Me: Justin, you know about the earthquake in China right? Mummy showed you the photos that day, remember?

Justin: Yes.

Me: Why don’t you give the money in the piggy bank away to them? You won’t be using the money anyway.

Justin: No, cannot.

Me: Why? Some children don’t have place to stay.

Justin: Ya, but they have food to eat. O.o *I showed a photo of a lady cooking outside a tent once*

Me: Not really, some of them are starving.

Justin: No, not my money. Cannot use my money.

Me: Then, what are you going to do with the piggy bank? We can’t bring it to Bangkok, it’s too heavy.

Justin: Puzzled…The money is all mine. O.o

Me: ……

I was really speechless when I heard him saying “The money is all mine”. :P

Packing and More Packing…

I know, I have been packing for so long but I still have a lot to do today. This might be the last packing up before we fly to Bangkok later as I’ve completed most of our stuffs.

This time, my kids helped out. They were asked to sort out their books and toys which are important to them so that I didn’t miss anything or over pack. However, when I asked Justin and Isabelle to pack their most precious things, they could only fill up one plastic bag each and left everything behind. LOL! Justin packed his farm animal set while Isabelle got her baby doll which I knitted and some “stuffs”, which I’m not sure what they are anymore.

Packing up…and Isabelle refused to face the camera. :P

Anyway, we managed to pack 6 boxes today. What an achievement huh?

Hubby is not around, so I’m not sure what he’s going to pack. Maybe we will end up with 7 boxes and 4 luggages. And what about the car seats and strollers? Gosh, I still have things to pack!!!

Isabelle’s New Fringe

Isabelle is more attached to me, and Justin is more like a daddy’s boy. That’s why I like to bring her along for shopping or my regular hair treatment. She won’t fuss that much as comparing to Justin, and she will also cooperate to get her fringe trimmed. All I need to do is prepare some snacks for her and tell her that she will look pretty later. You can’t tell her that she will look cute as she doesn’t like it. She prefers “pretty” over “cute”. LOL!

Sit by herself.

Very still…and she won’t move.

Some extra service of tying her hair.

Her new look.

But I think the fringe is a bit too short, and she looks so boyish now. When she was climbing up and down with Justin on the home gyms equipments just now, I thought I have 2 boys playing together. LOL! She’s so active and influenced a lot by her brother. However, hubby thinks that she’s cute in shorter fringe. But of course, we told her that she looks pretty, not cute. :)

In 3 Weeks…

We bought the flight tickets online this morning, so we are flying off to Bangkok in 3 weeks, officially. This is a one way ticket and we are not sure when will we be back here again. The kids will start going to school after settling down for the first month, so I guess we will have to wait for their school break. Besides that, hubby will be busy at work, so it’s not easy to come back as often as before.

I will have to start packing again, and this time, we need to move most of the books and toys over. On top of that, we still have lots of clothes here, so I will also send them over with a mover. I think I better label the boxes well so that I won’t get confused with the unpacking process later. I’m going to be so busy again!

The house is almost completed there, but there are still some things to buy. I wonder if we need an ademco home security system too, but hubby said that it’s a gated community, so it should be safer. We didn’t install all the air-conditioners yet, so we will do so once we move over. Gee….I really hate to clean up the mess again. But what to do? Without air-con, we will be roasted in the hot weather.

I have 3 more weeks only, so I better get more boxes now.

No Mosquito!

My kids love to play outside but there are a lot of mosquitoes in my neighborhood. But for the past 2 days, we hardly see any mosquitoes in the garden and the kids can have a good time playing among themselves.

Ring a ring o rosies…

Silly faces…

Toot toot train…

Learning golf on the grass…

Normally, my kids are not allowed to play on the grass. The mosquitoes like to lurk at this part of the house, and before you can step your foot on grass, they are swarming towards you. With them around lately, the kids can have more fun at this part of the house compound.

I’m so glad that it is not raining much now. Ain’t the weather great for more outdoor fun?

New Company’s Website

I’ve been corresponding with my webmaster about how to set up our company’s website, but we haven’t made up our minds if we should host the website with him yet. I’m satisfied with his service all the while, but for this website, I would like to check out other options available first.

There are ways to determine if you are dealing with a Good Cheap Web Hosting Provider. To me, the uptime is the most important as I have some bad experience in having my blogs down for long hours, and it’s very frustrating. I hope that this won’t happen to the new website.

There are lots of web hosting options around, and linux web hosting is one of them. I don’t think I will choose this though as we are not familiar with it. But luckily, my webmaster is such a great helper. He doesn’t mind explaining in details if I ask. :)

Pai Seh…

Isabelle woke up and didn’t go back to sleep for more than an hour, so this morning, she couldn’t get back early to send Justin to school. It’s Teacher’s Day at Justin’s school and hubby went along with him. His teacher kept telling us to be there, and now only we knew why…

We sponsored some money for the kids’ sports day somewhere in July, and it’s really no big deal and we didn’t think much about it. However, the principal announced about this just now and gave hubby a basket of fruits. Hubby said he was so puzzled and blur about the whole thing, and I was glad that I didn’t go to school with him. LOL! So pai seh… It’s really kacang puteh and we still don’t know why they have to announce about this. Besides that, the principal announced about us moving to Bangkok too, so the whole school knows about us now. LOL! Poor hubby, I wonder why he reacted in the lime light just now? LOL!

Anyway, Justin’s school is great. The teachers and principal are really kind and warm-hearted. But maybe we are not used to this yet, so the whole appreciation gesture took us by surprise. Justin said, “Teacher gave me mangoes leh, mommy. I show you.” To the kids, it’s just a basket of fruits that they can’t wait to eat. To us, it’s a heavy gift for something so insignificant.

My Old Daihatsu

I used to drive an old car when I was studying. My dad sold it away once I graduated as it needed a lot of maintenance just to keep it running well. I remembered that I used to curse the car because it wasted a lot of my monthly allowance because it kept breaking down all of a sudden and the mechanic was always pleased to see me! If I knew about midwest auto recycling during those years, I would have sent it for recycling to save myself from all the troubles of repairing it.

But come to think of it, I should feel grateful of having it. Without that car, how could I go shopping or clubbing with friends at uni? I don’t think I could even attend my classes on time if I need to get a public transport!

So, I wonder where is that car now? Being scrapped? Or someone is still driving it?
