I thought that we wouldn’t be going to Rachel’s birthday dinner, but hubby insisted that we went along since we promised the kids days ago before they had their fever. They wanted to go even if they were not feeling too well. We arrived late, but we left early before cake cutting too. With 2 sick kids, it’s best to leave early anyway, and we are glad that Holiday Mummy was ok with that.

My kids were unusually quiet and sticked to us all night long too. If it’s one of their regular nights out, they will be playing happily with other children.
