Justin’s Turtle Died

 Isabelle lost her turtle about 2 months ago and last night, Justin’s turtle died. The night before, hubby and I still laughed at what Isabelle said, “Koh koh turtle exercise, my turtle died.” I don’t know, but it sounded funny to us hearing her saying such a thing. I thought that she doesn’t remember her first pet, but she does. She even remembered that it’s dead.

Justin’s turtle had been quite active, and it ate well. We didn’t know what happened, but hubby suspected that it was too hot by the window that day, so it died by the time we reached home. Justin took it rather well this time, but we were rather shocked when he said “My turtle died liao. Let’s go buy another new turtle.” O.o

Thus, hubby and I agreed that they are not ready for another pet, especially a puppy. They can’t take pets seriously yet and I definitely don’t want them to misunderstand that they can always buy new pet when the old one passed away.

Besides that, turtles are rather easy to be taken care of, as comparing to dogs. If they can’t manage turtles, I don’t think they can do much with dogs. I will be the one taking care of the puppy and I will be more stressful than now! Going for an acne treatment is the last thing I want on my busy days.
