Our Year End Vacation
I thought we won’t be going anywhere this year, but I was wrong. Hubby has finally agreed to go for holidays this year end, but we won’t go for oversea trips. It’s best not spend so much money on vacation this year, unless we have already made a promising return on investment. I guess only the professional Marketing Company can help us out if we want to make money fast enough! LOL!
Initially, SIL invited us to join them to Hong Kong, Macau and ShenZhen for a week, but after hearing so many places in 7 days, both hubby and I chickened out. We know that we will be carrying our kids and pulling the luggage bags from one place to another, and rushing for planes, trains, and boats. So it doesn’t sound like a relaxing vacation for us, even if it’s a free and easy trip.
By yesterday, we have finally come out with our vacation plans. We will go to a resort for a short trip in November, and another short stay at a horse club and resort by year end. As you know, Justin loves horses. Thus, I think both my kids will enjoy the stay at the horse club where they can ride on ponies for so many days!
After that, we will spend a few days in Chiangmai in January to enjoy winter in Thailand. It should be quite cold by then, and my kids have already pick the resort of their choice. I just have to make a reservation soon to make sure that we have a room secured!

You’d miss the coldness in Jan, I think. Best time is around Nov or mid Dec. Heard about Muak Lek? Beeeaauuutiful sunflowers there now. Go check it out. CY
CY, we can’t make it before January, so I thought just postpone it. But anyway, it’s still in planning stage as I haven’t booked anything for Chiangmai, but just researching. Ya, heard of it, got sunflowers now already? Really have to go then.
ooh..nice!!! chiangmai should be fun & relaxing!
btw i have got an award for you. hop over to my blog to check it out now!
u r right, only adults can conquer macau, HK & shenzhen in a week, very wise decision not to bring d kids along!
eh, didn’t know that thailand also got winter wan leh….
what’s d temperature then, any idea?? am interested to know…..
Jasmine, ok, I will check it out.
Jacss, it’s not like snowing, but just windy and colder. Something like Genting but in Nortern Thailand, if you go to the national parks or upnorth, temperature can go to like 6deg. My SIL is from Nan in northern Thailand, somewhere near to Yunnan. She said it’s freezing cold there by year end until January.
