Holiday Plans

I told the kids about their daily schedule which starts from next Tuesday. My mom is going back tomorrow. I hope that the airport is functioning well as there was a demonstration again last night. We hope that the demonstrators won’t do anything stupid like seizing the airport again this time!

Start from next Tuesday, our kids will join a holiday art class, which they will attend every weekday for 2 weeks. Then it will be Songkran holiday, when the Thai people celebrate their “new year”. It’s a water splashing event where people splash water on you as a sign of blessing. I celebrated Songkran before many years ago, but I don’t like it. I don’t mind about getting wet but I hate people throwing flour on my hair and my face! Adding flour with water is not something pleasant, especially if you get this sort of “blessing” for like 3 or 4 days when you are out in certain areas in Bangkok city. That’s why I hope to get away to some resorts! I hope that they only allow water but not flour!!!

After Songkran, our kids will join a summer camp until school starts after mid May. I guess their holiday will be pretty packed later on and they won’t be rotting in front of the TV anymore.

But maybe I’ve spoken too early about their schedule, Isabelle seems to be very eager to get started with her new classes. She woke up early this morning and got herself dressed without fuss. She even wanted to put on a Caesar’s Designs ring, an anklet, and her handbag as if she’s going out with us! Our little vain pot didn’t realize that her schedule will only start next week and her parents were only leaving for work as usual. LOL!

So, I guess we will be busier next week, and talking about art class, I better make a trip to the art center this afternoon. I haven’t paid for the fees!

Wish your mum have a safe trip home.

And enjoy the Songkran (minus the flour). :)

Can’t find any resorts there in Nakorn Nayok, SM, because the last time we went to was actually in Kao Yai and we actually camped there.

    Mommylac, thanks!

CY, ya ya, I read from your blog, you went for camping in Khao Yai. Looks very fun but I think not for this trip. We don’t have camping gears yet, and I don’t want to buy now. No space to keep! House already messy, so better keep things to minimum. :P

Ya. Worst is when people throw water and powder from their trucks onto passers-by…..especially motorcyclist. Lots of accidents happen this way…
