2nd Attempt

Remember our previous attempt to “spy” on Isabelle on her Thai Dance class? We tried our best to reach their school earlier, but hubby and I still failed to see her dance in her class. The main reason why we are so curious about her Thai dancing is, she refuses to show us what she learns! LOL!

Justin showed us the way to the dance room, and I took a few shots secretly…

Singing some Thai songs

Doing the after class ritual (something like saying Thank You, Teacher)

And she found us! LOL!

So, we still failed to get a glimpse of her Thai dancing, and hopefully, she’s selected for performance on the coming Mother’s Day concert. Thai people celebrate Mother’s Day in August.

It’s my first visit to the school dance room too.

Isabelle’s best friend. She keeps telling us about Nong Ai.

If you are wondering, her best friend is in the same class as Isabelle. She’s the tallest girl in the class, and my gal only reaches her shoulder. LOL! See la, my Isabelle is so petite in her school. Even my mom was wondering, why are the kids so tall here? :P

A Trip to Phuket

For the past few days, I have been looking for a hotel or resort in Phuket in November, and it seems like the room rates are so expensive during the peak season! Actually, we will only be there for 3 days, so hubby doesn’t want to spend a bomb on a nice room or private villa with pretty ceramic tile and private pool. :P

I’ve booked the flight tickets and now it’s only about getting a place to stay. With a tight budget *ahem!*, I have to be FRUGAL in looking for a room. Any suggestion, anyone?

Wordless Wednesday (A day late): Block Game Fun

Day Trip to Pattaya Again

I guess I kept blogging about Pattaya since we moved there huh? LOL! But then, it’s the nearest beach from Bangkok, and even if it’s not the nicest in Thailand, it’s still one of the beach options available for a day trip, if we don’t want to drive for more than 3 hours. Nonetheless, we didn’t drive to Pattaya last Saturday but we took the vans with the office staffs, so it’s more fun going as a group.

I guess the photos can speak for themselves about our trip to Pattaya Floating Market, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and Resort and Jomtien beach (the beach minutes away from Pattaya).

First stop, the over 100 years old temple

Kids were more curious about the cute baby

So cute hoh? He’s a boy, by the way…

Cubit cubit

Next stop, Pattaya Floating Market

Our one and only couple photo for the trip. LOL!

Darling Isabelle was trying to ask for the flowers.

Justin’s feeding the elephant

Jomtien beach

Building sandcastle, with hands. LOL!

Justin loves the waves.

Sunset by the beach

I’m a bit lazy for blogging lately. :P Please go to my Facebook for more photos ya?

Maybe it’s the fatigue over the busy weekends. Ya, WEEKENDS! Mark the S. We are going to have another busy weekend again on Sunday. Ahh….I really need a good back massage, I’m so tired. :P

Besides that, I found out that a blogger had just lost her husband, and even if I don’t know her personally, it’s still a great loss. A bit lost of words now…

No Camping Afterall

We told the kids that we might go camping this weekend, but the plan was canceled. It’s been raining for the past few days, and it’s not a good season for camping at national park. Justin is pretty disappointed, but we will bring them for a day trip to the beach tomorrow. Poor hubby, he’s been working late these few days, driving around to a few places and he has to drive to the beach tomorrow. He’s going to be very tired after the trip. :P

How I wish we can have a relaxing stay at the villas in Outer Banks foreclosures. You know? The kind of trips where you don’t do anything but eat, sleep and daydream? LOL! How I wish…

Busy Weekends

We have been pretty busy the past weekends. Besides that usual shopping and makan makan, we brought the kids for Transformer 2 and Ice Age 3 in 3D digital. I guess we won’t be bringing them to watch Harry Porter as Isabelle might be horrified by the movie. :P

Last Saturday, we joined the Merdeka Games 2009 which was held at the Embassy of Malaysia, Bangkok. The games started at 8.30am, but we arrived late as our kids are too young for coloring contest anyway. :P

Merdeka Day Sports Carnival 2009

Isabelle’s checking her goodie bag upon arrival.

I was rather bored as I don’t know anyone there. :P But our kids seemed to enjoy the games, and not to mention, the JUNKS in their goodie bags. LOL!

Give me my lollipop!

Malaysian expats who came for the games.

Most of them are Malays, but I’m glad some of the kids speak in Thai. :P

That’s why our kids have no communication problem with other children and they made some new friends.

Kita, anak Malaysia, pegang Jalur Gemilang, but cakap Thai.

Our kids are too young for most of the games, so they only joined the musical chair and Justin joined 3 legged run with daddy.

Musical chair.

They just wanted to stick together, so when Isabelle was out from the game, Justin quit voluntarily as well. :P

3 legged run, can you spot Justin? LOL!

But then, mommy was not too bored by the end of the day as she managed to snap a lot of photos.

Check out my balloons mommy!

Isabelle likes the balloons. She asked the helpers to take down the decorative balloons for her. LOL!

If you are interested to see more photos, check out my Facebook. :)

After the games, we dropped by Siam Paragon for our lunch, and mommy wanted to grab some books from Kinokuniya.

The kids sure had a good appetite!

And they were very tired. Justin couldn’t help but lying down after his meal.

Not only the kids, I was very tired too. I think if I have to be so occupied everyday, I won’t need any weight losss supplements also I can lose some weight! If you think we were heading home after our trip to Siam Paragon, you are wrong!

Hubby suggested that we dropped by Angel Tomorrow to grab some books for the kids, and so off we went again. :P

So, we didn’t go anywhere yesterday. Everyone was so tired and lazy after a long and fun filled Saturday.

Justin wanted to stick to the TV and be a book worm. Those are the books we bought from Angel Tomorrow, which mommy arranged nicely for her camera. LOL!

Isabelle just wanted to paint and watch TV too.

Frankly, I’m still yet to recover from that hectic Saturday. But this weekend is going to be another busy weekend for us. So in the mean time, let us all rest as much as possible first.

Isabelle Joins Thai Dance Class

The kids stopped their art class for 2 months already, and we still haven’t enrolled them into new classes. :P Let’s see when they are going back to their class again…

Anyway, they are pretty occupied from Monday to Friday as after school, they will join the English class and Justin has taewondo while Isabelle has just started Thai dance.

Hubby and I wanted to take a peep of her dancing yesterday, so I brought along my camera to her school. But we arrived late, and the class had ended.

She was so surprised to see us. LOL!

Normally, the kids are allowed to play at the indoor playground after their extra classes while waiting for their parents, but since we arrived early, Isabelle was so surprised to see us waiting at the staircase.

Excited to see her slave daddy.

This is the first time we saw her in Thai traditional pants. When the teacher passed the long red cloth and a belt to me, I was clueless on how to wear it for Isabelle. But she said the teachers will help the kids to change before and after the class, so mommy doesn’t have to learn. :P

Check out the back of the “pants”. LOL! It’s too long for her la…

BTW, the bruise on her cheek has faded off.

Love her smile…

Nonetheless, the bruise on her lower jaw is still pretty obvious.

Still sakit…

She does not allow me to snap a photo of her bruise, so I curi curi snap one when she’s drinking her milk. Ya, my vain pot is still on bottle!!! We shall wean her off when she’s 4.

An Empty Aquarium…

Remember the prawns and fish? I thought of snapping their photos when I’m free, but it’s too late now.

My dear hubby who’s quite stubborn who stands firm to his principles, thinks that having a fish pump turned on 24/7 is a waste of electricity. As much as I applaud his effort towards a greener world, ahem, I couldn’t stop myself from thinking that this is such a stupid bad idea. LOL!

You see…one prawn mati the moment it reached home right? So I thought, I would snap photos of the new mini aquarium the next morning, when it’s nicer for photos. But as soon as I got downstairs, I saw a muddy fish tank with a dead prawn and 3 upside-down fishes. Ya, all died except one fish.

So, naturally, I questioned hubby why he didn’t turn on the pump the whole night and he said it’s not necessary. O.o Anyway, I can’t do much already, and he settled the fish tank. The kids were disappointed when they found out that there was only one fish left. Hubby got smart, and he left the pump on for the day when we out to work and to school. And I thought, ok la, at least we still have a fish, and I can buy some new fishes later.

But this morning, I found that the last fish was dead too. Why? It’s because daddy is the culprit again! He turned off the pump. Ahhhh!!!! Kek sei ngor loh...

Justin almost cried when he saw that upside-down fish. His last fish!!! He’s very much into keeping his pets, so I could see that he’s very sad about the fish. This time, it was not me who scolded hubby, it’s Justin. LOL! He kept asking “Papa, why you turned off the pump? Now my fish died already you know? NO MORE FISH! Why you don’t listen? Cannot off the pump you know?”

So, hubby quickly settled the dead body and the fish tank so that he could please his prince. Poor daddy, he has to please both his princess and prince now…LOL!

Then, I heard daddy mumbling…”Maybe we should get some turtles.” O.o

Wah seh…how long will the pets survive this time? I really think it’s not a good idea to have pets, unless you can make sure that they stay healthy, and live long under our roof. I used to have a lot of hamsters and I made a couple of baby announcements when my hamster family expanded. Just imagine that I have up to 5 cages for my hamsters ok? So, I know too well about the responsibilities of having pets, let them be small or big.

So, hubby’s thinking about turtles again…Aiyo…

Grumpy Isabelle

I can be grumpy. I can be naughty. I can cry my lungs out. I can skip or not finish my meals…I’m the Queen PRINCESS at home now. Everyone has to pamper me, if not, I will SCREAM and SHOUT until you faint…

Why?

It’s because….

I’m in PAIN!

Check out my right cheek and chin.

My daddy loh…He slipped and fell when he carried me out from the car yesterday. It was raining, and the car porch was very slippery. When daddy slipped, I fell face down and hurt my cheek and chin. I CRIED. I YELLED. The rain was noisy, but I think I was noisier!

When I eat or drink…I feel the pain. So I can’t eat well.

It’s so painful, and I am acting like Grumpy the dwarf from Snow White. I’m driving everyone nuts again. But what to do? I’m really in pain, you know?

So….Don’t put the blame on me when I’m not being the sweet little Isabelle.

Like I said…I’m the PRINCESS now. I RULE!

*as long as you are in pain only ya, my dear…*

Are You Planning for a Holiday?

Searching for the next holiday has never been easier until I came across this website:

travclass_small.gif

I would love to play a family trip this year, if financially permits. So far, I have not got the green light from hubby yet, so I dare not do any planning without the approval of our family’s finance minister. But if money is not a concern, I would love to bring my kids for the first skiing trip. They might be too young to learn skiing, but playing in the snow in winter would be nice. Besides that, hubby misses skiing so much, I know that he would love to spend a few hours skiing by himself, while the lovely wife here watches the kids! LOL!

The 9 Days Winter Wonderland tour to Europe will just just nice as the kids and I can go for a ride by cable car to see the nice view of Mount Pilatus, and hopefully hubby can do some skiing there. Besides that, the package price sounds reasonable. Or maybe it’s because I haven’t really research for more option? *wink*

Anyway, I dare not dream too much now. It’s all depending on $$$ factor. So, even if hubby agrees on a budget vacation to Bali, I will be more than happy already!

So, if you are planning a holiday, hop over to TravClass ya!
