Don’t Tell Me
Hubby said I must blog about this, so that we can remember how amusing Isabelle is at this stage…
Our little princess can be very stubborn and determined (she got the gene from hubby. LOL!). Some times, she can really annoy us until we have to raise our voice or keep nagging her on the same issues such as get ready faster in the morning, don’t cry when she wakes up (she has been doing this since she was a baby), stop sitting on any area rugs when she puts on her shoes as she has very sensitive skin, finish her dinner and etc.
Whenever we tell her some dos and dons now, she will tell us…
Isabelle: Don’t tell me!
Me: But you have to do this and this and this …
Isabelle: You don’t tell me!
Daddy: But you are not doing it right. It should be bla bla bla…
Isabelle: You don’t tell me. Why everything also you have to tell me? You don’t tell me!!!!
Me: If you don’t tell you, you might get hurt, or you won’t get it right.
Isabelle: I say (said) you don’t tell me!!!!
Me: Ok la…then we don’t tell you.
*Â Â *Â Â *
When hubby and I are in a playful mood (don’t get this wrong ok?), and when she’s repeating the same thing…
Isabelle: Mommy, I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Me: Ok, but papa is driving now and we are on our way.
Isabelle: Mommy, I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Me: Ok dear, we are on our way. Wait first…
Isabelle: Mommy, I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Me: I heard you already…
Isabelle: I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Hubby: Ok loh, we all know already!
Isabelle: I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Justin: Mei mei, koh koh also know already!
Isabelle: I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Me: You don’t tell me. (Copying Isabelle’s favorite phrase at the moment)
Isabelle: I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Hubby: You don’t tell me.
Isabelle: I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home.
Me: You don’t tell me.
Isabelle: MOMMY!!!! I said I want to eat cereal when we go (reach) home. Why you said you don’t tell me don’t tell me don’t tell me!!!!
Me: Mommy learned that from you.
Isabelle: You don’t say “you don’t tell me”. You don’t tell me. You don’t tell me. Waa….*started crying liao*
