A Trip to Phuket
For the past few days, I have been looking for a hotel or resort in Phuket in November, and it seems like the room rates are so expensive during the peak season! Actually, we will only be there for 3 days, so hubby doesn’t want to spend a bomb on a nice room or private villa with pretty ceramic tile and private pool.
I’ve booked the flight tickets and now it’s only about getting a place to stay. With a tight budget *ahem!*, I have to be FRUGAL in looking for a room. Any suggestion, anyone?

Hi,
Accidentally bumped into your blog when googling Funarium.
Anyway, we stayed at Movenpick Resort when at Phuket . It has a nice children area that should keep the children busy for awhile. In addition, the swimming pool is beautiful with slides for the children.
Hope this helps and not ‘confuse’ you more.
You know, most of my dearest travelling memories with my family are from Thailand and Phuket is one of them!! Think I was staying at some 5 star hotel but it wasn’t so pricey back then. I guess Phuket must have changed so much but I’m sure that you’ll have a great trip wherever you stay. =)
I went there with Soon before we get married. I forgot where we stayed. So cant help you.
I planned to go Penang and stay at Hard Rock hotel, it will open on September. So excited even I stayed at Hard Rock hotel when we went to Bali before, remember?
Thanks Daphne, I did check it out but the rate is too high for me during peak season. Maybe for next trip?
Stardust, I hope it’s going to be a nice trip too.
Lovelymummy, yaya, I remembered you went before. About Hard Rock Penang, it used to be Mutiara, so it should be very nice!!! The beach is awesome, many years ago la, as far as I remember.
You really Hard Rock big fan. LOL!
