Sleeping Separately

Isabelle’s nose is getting more sensitive, and she wakes up complaining about nose block some times. There was a night when she complained that she could not breathe, so she slept in separate room with daddy by using a fan instead of the air-conditioning. Me, on the hand, can’t live without air-conditioning, so I slept with Justin in my room.

Since then, she prefers to sleep with the fan. She even talks about moving back to her room and just use the fan instead of the air-con. But we haven’t make this changes yet as hubby was away last week on a business trip, and both kids tugged in with me again.

I don’t mind getting a new Sleep number bed if the kids agree on sleeping separately, but I know that hubby is suffering from separation anxiety. Yeap, not me, it’s HIM!

Maybe we should really do this soon, considering that Isabelle had already initiated it. But we have to talk to Justin into moving back to the kids room as well. Then, we have to settle the fan vs air-con issue. LOL! Justin will properly Select Comfort bed and cool room because he sweats in his sleep. So, it’s a tough compromise between the kids, unless they can sleep on their own in 2 separate rooms! That will be a major milestone, which I doubt will come any sooner.
