I’ve never been good at direct selling. Hubby has a few memberships with some of the popular MLM in Malaysia, but sadly, we didn’t do anything much about it. The main reason why he got himself in them was he’s very soft hearted and “listened” to his friends, and also we are using the products. That’s it. I don’t recall selling anything to our friends and relatives too!

Maybe we just don’t know where and how to start. Some direct sales companies use the help of Telemarketing Lists Broker to get to their target clients and to boost their sales. Frankly, I’m not sure if it’s more effective than getting its member to get more members, but then it’s more suitable for people who are passive sellers like me.

When I was shopping for magazines just now, I came across some home improvement magazines which I haven’t bought for years. Last time, I like collecting home or interior design magazines and hope that one day when I have my own house, I will renovate and decorate it like a show house! Ha! But dream on as I don’t have a house yet!

Nonetheless, I’m still dreaming about owning a house in nice places like orange county real estate, or something like Sri Hartamas, or The Dales in Ipoh. So, I better go work harder on earning more money later!

I’m still struggling with Photoshop. :P

I wanted to give up, but after seeing so many mommies with nice scrapbooks, I told myself to try harder this time. There are sites that offer nice scrapbook freebies, and free fonts which are free for downloading, and I have collected quite a number of them. But then, why haven’t I started showing off my work?

My PC is not capable of coping with Adobe Photoshop. I’ve told hubby about my desire to upgrade the RAM. As long as he is willing to help me to install it, I’ll go get one ASAP! Not only that, I have no idea what photoshop has the computer shop installed for me after they formatted my PC last time. It can’t be used! Funny!

So, scrapbooking is still being delayed….

Lots of bloggers and my friends and family have been asking me this question lately, is my hubby going to work in Bangkok?

Ok, the answer is “I’m NOT SURE”. He delayed his plan until no further notice. :P He still tied down with his work here, and won’t be leaving so soon. So, we are really happy that he’s not going away, for the time being. Both my kids are really attached to him now as they know that as long as daddy’s around, there will be lots of “gai gai” for them.

If he really leaves and works elsewhere, I guess I will have to get a web cam, or some other way of communication, like Ventrilo to ensure that all of us can stay connected. It’s really expensive to spend on oversea phone bills!

However, I wish that his plan won’t come through too soon. I hate to have a family in 2 different countries.

Gee, I think have to wait another 4 months before I can go to spa in Bali. I’m really dying for one now….

Maybe it’s really late already, and I’m tired and sleepy. My kids woke up a few times and they really didn’t sleep well just now. Gosh, I really feel going for a vacation tomorrow! But I got to work, and how I hate going to work now! I WANNA QUIT! :P

All I need now is an all inclusive family vacation that I can just grab my kids and be on nice sandy beach, doing nothing but snipping on coconut juice and watch them playing in the sand. How nice huh?

Too bad, we just can’t leaven like this tomorrow. Hubby has his own plan already……what else except this ………….

As I was thinking of what to do with our centre marketing solution, I guess we can think about getting these Promotional Flip Flops. If we made the sizes smaller to fit the kids, and have the flip flops in bright colours, with cartoon characters, I think the kids will love them.  Of coz, we need to print our centre name and contact number on them  too, that’s the most important thing to be done!

So, I got another plan in mind! Just wait until I’ve discussed with my partners first. At the same time, we need to think about the budget and effectiveness too. We can’t just dump lots of money into marketing and don’t have the expected results.

I know that education is very important, but parents these days were forced to be kiasu, especially Chinese parents. I admit that I worried about how my kids will be doing when they grow up sometimes, especially when I see how much SIL is pushing on her kids. We live under the same roof, it’s unavoidable!

Most parents want their kids to be doctors, lawyers, engineers, and all other professionals. That’s the way I was brought up too, but now, I’m neither one of those! I quit my job as an engineer years ago and no regrets. However, I am still leading a happy life,

Hubby has the same mentality as me. He thinks that study is important, but not to the extend of pushing the kids to having tuition for all subjects. He prefers them to balance out with sports and traveling. Even if our kids end up in Welding School, and as long as they love what they are doing, we will support their decisions.

But hubby hopes no matter what they want to do, they got to love golf. :P

I hope to get a break from my center during school holiday. I’m really lazy to teach, and would very much like it if I can just stay at home all day long blogging and shopping. :P

Not only that, I think I would plan some short trips locally to bring the kids around. But since it’s going to be school holiday, most of the tourist spots will be very crowded. It’s better to plan in advance and gather all the info about accommodation, food, vacation packages and etc via United Vacation Network.

However, that depends on hubby’s work schedule too. If he can take a few days off from work and golfing, then it will be easier to plan for a short trip. I better talk to him about this tomorrow.

There is only one PC in our centre which we use for accounting and tracking student data purposes. Most of the time, when all the teachers were teaching, there is no one out there at the reception.

If the children are obedient enough, they won’t touch the PC. Not some curious little ones will like to play around with it, and might mess up with the files insides. We don’t have security password for the important files like accounting, sales, student details and attendance, teacher’s salary and etc. I think it’s better to have them protected with password.

Maybe we should maximize our security strength with products from Identity Management System. Their products meet data privacy and compliance requirements. It might good to get one.

I’m still busy installing the software for my PC, especially Adobe Photoshop! I got to get back to scrapbook, well, still in learning stage though. I lost everything in the PC because it was infected with virus, and thus formatted thoroughly. I almost screamed when I was unsure if all my kids photos could be retrieved or not as I don’t back up them all.

Now, I can’t bear to have a PC without anti virus software, like NOD32 which is the world record holder of the coveted Virus Bulletin 100% award. Besides that, they have 30 days money back guaranteed policy, so if you are not satisfied, you can always refund within 30 days.

If you don’t have anti virus software, then you better check it out.
