Bringing together a very special Christmas play

Guest post written by Erin Hinson

Last year our church Christmas play never really got off the ground because of a whole bunch of different things that happened that I just won’t get into. Well, this year we wanted to make sure that the Christmas play happens without a hitch. Lots of people were really sad last year when it didn’t happen, so I’m determined to deliver the best Christmas play possible.

I’ve been doing a whole lot of research online to see if I can come up with some really cool costume ideas and while I was doing that about a week or two ago, I ran across some information on Miracle Ear. After I looked through it a little bit I decided to go and get fitted with some hearing aids. My kids have been telling me that I need to get some for so long now anyway.

I found one kids Christmas skit that I think we’re going to include in the play. I love adding a little something here and there, but only if it’s going to add to the overall experience.

Real Estate

Posted by Gaylord Campbell

I have been a real estate agent for over 30 years, but since the real estate market took a dive a few years ago, my family has had some financial struggles. With three kids in college, we’ve had to make some adjustments to make ends meet. My wife began working at the local middle school as a receptionist, which brings in a significant amount of money each year. We’ve cut down the amount of channels we receive with our cable, and we got rid of our home phone and only use our cell phones. I went to www.ShopElectricityRatesTexas.com and found out that I could save money on our energy bill. My wife began using coupons on groceries. We have also tried to limit the number of leisure drives we take in the car in order to save gas money. I believe that the housing market will pick up eventually, but it may take several years for the market to recover. In the mean time, we will continue to figure out ways to save money until I can find another career path.

Love saving money

The Author of this post is Velma Baird

I love to save money. It’s probably because when I was young, our family was very poor and could not afford much of anything. I even had a teacher who bought me a coat one winter because my parents couldn’t afford to buy me one. As I got older, I always paid attention to how much everything costs. I started working as soon as I could and was committed to save enough money to buy a house. I got married after I felt that I was financially stable enough to support a family. After 10 years of marriage and two kids, I had saved up money again to move into a bigger house. When we moved into our new house, I found the cheapest provider f or cable and internet. I have a friend who suggested I use Texas electric rate to find the best deal for energy rates. I couldn’t imagine paying full price for anything, including our utilities. My children tease be about being cheap. I usually ignore them, but I always think to myself, “They will never know what it’s truly like to live without money.”

Working too much…

Thanks for the guest post by Donn Schroeder

Although I’ve always been raised to make sure that I provide for my family financially, it’s really put a strain on my marriage how much I work. You always hear stories about the absent father that is never home, and the wife that gets irritated because said husband is never home. I never thought I’d say this- but my life has turned in to that exact same thing. My wife says that not only does she feel like we don’t spend any time together, but she said that she doesn’t feel safe in our house all by herself when it gets dark at night and I’m having to work later. In order to save my marriage, I took off a week of work to spend time with her, and also went to home-alarm-systems.COM/ to get a security system. Even though she says that there will never be a ‘me’ replacement, she appreciated the effort I put in to make her happy, and we have been doing well for the past 3 months. I know that I’ll have to continue to make my family my number one priority so I don’t lose the most important people in my life!

Parades at Thanksgiving are great!

Guest written by our friend Jamie Gross

Thanksgiving Dinner is something that is a great thing for people to take advantage of and spend time with their families. Personally, I love the ability I have to watch my favorite Thanksgiving Parade on my Direct Star TV after dinner. My mother and father take advantage of this as well because family time is very important. Although parades are great, the most important thing during Thanksgiving is spending time with friends and loved ones. My parents divorced and I have the opportunity to see them both on Thanksgiving Day. I get to spend more time with each of them then if they were together!

The favorite food of mine during Thanksgiving is cranberry sauce and stuffing. I enjoy mixing them together and then eating turkey and gravy. These have been my favorites since childhood and I am proud to say that I will never grow out of loving them. I enjoy the talk that my family has with me and my fiancé, and the precious time that we spend together. Enjoying a holiday dinner is better than anything when you are spending the time with your family

People need to always remember that thanksgiving is not about the food and parties, but about being thankful for your friends and loved ones. For after all without them we would not be here enjoying our special times.

iContact Email Marketing

If you have a web store or internet business, do you send email newsletters to your valued customers or members? I constantly receive a few from some web stores that I used to shop with previously. Even if I stopped buying baby products from them, I still get informed about the latest arrival and promotions. Who knows? I might want to buy something next time.

So, if you are a web store owner, do you have email marketing to attract and retain your customers? These email newsletters will keep your customers updated about your site and they won’t forget about it easily. Furthermore, if you are away and if someone leaves you an email, the autoresponder will reply a simple email on your behalf. You can just give the iContact Email Marketing software a try as it’s free for the first 15 days. After the free trial, you can decide if you want to purchase it starting at $9.95 per month.

Thus, it’s still affordable for small business owners. If you are interested, check out the product, ok?

Cheap cheap stuffs online

These toys would be perfect for Justin and Isabelle! These preschool toys are from Grande Portal, and guess how much they cost? …..Only $9.95 per set! It’s not expensive though, as I’ve seen something similar from one of the salesman last time, and the sets are more expensive.

Most of the things sold here are really cheaper. I like the way they organize the items where I can find things to shop within my budget. For example, let’s say I’m looking for a gift from $0 to $5, I can find a few items for my kids, such as the Rainbow Cookie Kit and the Little Sound Books.

Since the things are really cheap, I think I can buy and resell them too!!! Let me find out what’s the market price for the books sold here at our local book stores first. :P Besides, if you have your own business, you can apply for an account with Grande Portal and buy the stuffs first but pay later. There’s really no hassle and credit cards are not needed. The stuffs will be sent to you with an invoice and you can send them a commercial or personal check, or money order later.
Oh ya, they have lots of stuffs in other categories too, but I just love kids stuffs. :)
