We Got Our Visas!
Sorry everyone, I know that I told the world I won’t be updating my blog, but I have good news to share! For the past 6 months, my kids and I had only tourist visas to Thailand, and we went through visa run to Cambodia, flew back twice to renew our visa and also extended our visas once at the immigration office in Bangkok. It’s a lot of hard work to us, considering that we dragged 2 young children along.
But this afternoon, we had finally got our dependent visas (depending on hubby’s) of one year stay with multiple entry to Thailand!!! I’m not sure what the officer meant by 3 months stamping upon arrival, but at least it’s a one year visa, so I guess we don’t have to fly back as often as we did previously. Hubby and I dared not make any reservation for Chiangmai in January because we were worried that we had to fly back to Malaysia again in February. It’s a lot of flying here and there for the kids who skip school a lot and not to mention, tiring for all of us too. But I guess we can continue with our vacation plan now, and get our thicker outdoor clothing packed for Chiangmai. LOL! Hopefully, it’s still cold up there…
By the way, we won’t be celebrating Chinese New Year back home next year. I hope that our friends and relatives won’t mind about this. We will be back again, and that’s for sure, but maybe not so soon.
